to this review here When I first moved to StartLogic, they were great! I'm a pretty technical person, so I didn't need to use their support features. Over time though, they've gotten worse. From periods of outages where their support says "it works fine from here", then a few hours later, its magic and fixed.
Most recently, it got even worse. They moved their hosting to a new version of vDesk. Now, my site is slow, sometimes doesn't work at all, the management tools are REALLY slow (sometimes 30 seconds to display a folder's contents). There are features that I can't always see.
Then this week, was it for me. All my MySQL databases but one just disappeared one day. I contacted their support, and sat on hold for 2 hours before giving up. Then I opened an online ticket about the SQL databases being gone and my site being slow. 24 hours later, they send me a response, that my site is not slow to them. They mention nothing about the SQL databases!
Stay away from this host! It will cause you nothing but pain! I wish they were the host they were 2 years ago, and I would never have to write this.
