to this review here Spunkyworld was good price and good tech support. But when I switched over to another provider and notified them I was billed 3 months latter. I tried to cancel and received some of the rudest emails I have ever seen. There customer service sucks. There is no communication from them until the payment goes through nor is there any sort of reminder. Watch out if you go through them. Here is one of the nicer emails I received from them.
You signed that contract on a semi-annually recurring basis on Thu Apr 22 15:00:50 2004, so you are well aware that the payment is due every 6 months. Like it was the past 4 years.
You know that you are renting server space from us, so it is not necessary that we remind you every week of that. That would be nonsense.
Now out of a sudden you asking for reminders after 4 years ?
We will also record that you are trying to extort a refund, although you know that you are in breach of contract when you ask Visa to cancel the transaction.
We will present them the communication for their review including the transactions from the past 4 years.
"Whenever you sign a contract on a recurring basis, and you no longer wish to use that service, you need to cancel it. That is the very same with each company or organisation.
I don't know why you question this. It is not our fault when you are late with the cancellation request.
