I was looking for a web host 7 years ago that was affordable, consistant and easy to work with and I found all that with DWHS. Great hosting team. Thanks for these many years of great service!

I've gotten burned by two other hosting companies, but DWHS always did me right. So I am sticking with them. I love the server and software, and it is SO EASY TO MANAGE even if you are not familiar with that type of system.
I so recommend it.

I'm new at this as a retired hardware/software engineer with too much time (and talent) on his hands, and bored with the current websites-of-interest. This hosting service had me up and running fats and easy, even though it was my inexperience that caused the initial bungling.
The "acid test" to start - and passed with flying colors!

This company is a nightmare

DWHS seemed like a great deal when I was shopping for a host - wow, was I wrong. Their servers unbalance every Three Days. They were hacked (not my site - the host!) by a disgruntled employee and their backups destroyed. My local backups, faithfully taken and generated on their system, was incomplete every single time and failed because they didn't capture the mySQL databases. Their customer service is non-existent - they don't answer their phones or email, they don't direct customers where they need to go on their website for instructions and their reps (and the owner) are obnoxiously rude. They even lie about their BBB rating on their website - it is NOT an A rating. They even billed me after I gave them repeated instruction to cancel my service!

I am still with DWHS but not because I want to be. I paid for a year of their service up front. I've moved all of my good sites away from them though. I started using them in 2006 and they were pretty good back then. But they've moved most or all of their customer support to India. I can never call them anymore. When I have problems, they dont research what to do but rather give me the fastest possible response. I have to dig up the info for them. I am not tech support, they should figure it out.
One time my website was down and I told them about it. They take a day to respond (they in India). They say "it works for me" and close the support ticket. The website was still down. Then I asked them to reboot the server. One day later they say "you are in a shared server, we cannot do that".. So it takes them 3 days before they fix the problem!! My god three days of down time is like thousands of dollars. This is pathetic.
