My site was down on several occations. I did not receive call backs from the billing department and when I did contact them to say I had to move my site due to the server being down and no contact for a week, I was rudely rused a refund. Don't trust them with anything especially your business.

If you use your domain to conduct any kind of business, I wouldn't touch Websytz with a ten-foot pole. Downtime was long and frequent, especially on the notorious server3, where my website was located. The result of all this was that I lost important business correspondence several times--people were sending emails to a domain mailbox that didn't exist for days at a time. $4.95 a month sounds great, but you get shoddy hosting for your money. Tech support people were intermittently respondent, but often couldn't offer any advice other than a generalized "Be patient. We are working on resolving the problem." To make a long story short: STAY AWAY! Try a reliable and slightly more expensive provider like Lunarpages instead--you'll thank yourself for spending the extra $3 a month.

Help desk loves ignoring customers. Days go by before you get any kind of response, and then the response is usually wrong (i.e., they claim to have already fixed the problem, when in reality, they've done nothing).

Websytz has went south!

I originally signed up in March of 2002 for the simple reason of very reasonable rates for a simple family email server, the ability to play with PHP and learn something about web programming in this newer language. The service went down like clockwork about once or twice a month. I didnââ¬â¢t feel this was too bad, because of the price. And they only offer 99% up time. If you donââ¬â¢t know that allows 5,256 minutes a year downtime. So, why complain about only a few hours a month down time? I never did, only submitted quick trouble tickets for their records. The trouble started this week, August 18, 2003. All of my services went down. I tried calling multiple times to the customer support team, I submitted trouble tickets, and I even talked to a ââ¬ÅLive personââ¬Â on their worthless chat support system. I can tolerate system problems, but ignoring a customer? I would lose my job at www.winman.com! I was never given a reason for the outage, and they ignored all of my submissions of troubles. Not to mention all of their phone numbers listed on their web site either had busy signals or ââ¬ÅThis number has been disconnectedââ¬Â.
I have learned it is worth it to pay a little more for services. I have now switched to www.apollohosting.com They have great customer service! I am very impressed; their features offered are top of the line. I highly recommend them. Websytz.com is to busy with their Adult hosting, http://www.erotihost.com/
