I have been with Vortech for over 5 years and they were the best around in the beginning. Their growth while impressive has hurt them in the way of network traffic within their network, support and service to clients. I am currently moving hosts due to the support and unwillingness to troubleshoot issues.

Vortech was hacked in November of this year...They then proceeded to charge me an addditional $2000 for the accounts the hackers setup. THEN...they refused to return my phone calls for three weeks. Now I'm overdrawn by $1700 just weeks before Christmas. THANKS VORTECH!!!

If you host here pray you do not have a problem. Staff is rude and unhelpful, often providing curt replies and dismissing your service tickets.

Whoever is saying there is no downtime must not be awake. My main business email account + many of my clients accounts were down for the past week and a half with no answers or solutions. AND IT'S STILL NOT FIXED! This has NEVER happened with any other company and is frankly unacceptable.

I have lost an average of $1000 a month in my own time dealing with their support staff and trying to get around their problems.

Latest issue involves a change to my account that I did not ask for that will now cost me more $$ each month.

There is never an apology, never an offer to discount services...nothing. Just side attitudes and constantly "iffy" services.

I have been with them since November 2002. They have about 15 Servers then. Now it boasts of the largest H-Sphere Cluster in the World !! They have to be. Just wonderful. About 1 Day of downtime since 11'2002. Thanks guys. Nobody can beat you!!!

Overall, I'm very happy with the service provided by this crew. I've hosted with a lot of other companies, and few (except for maybe the largest, and most expensive ones) can compare to the level of options available.

I've been hsoting witht hese guys for almost two years now. Hardly any downtime, and when there was some it was usually scheduled maintenance/upgrades. Speed: well... it's premium! On my Cox connection from home I get 380k/sec on downloads. Support:Tickets usually answered within 10 minutes. Phone support always picks up too :) They also have a forum setup so that you can interact with other customers before & after signup. You will see that I'm not the only satisfied customer! You won't go wrong with these guys!

I worked with these people for 9 months... I really gave them a shot. Unfortunately their customer support is lousy. Their attitude, expressed by a VP, is "we don't charge a whole lot, so you're getting good enough for what you're paying" (paraphrased). I'm here because I'm looking for an alternative to Vortech (Matrix).

Be careful with this company. I opened an account with them and could never get my site functioning properly. Not only was customer service not helpful, they actually insulted my intelligence via email when I asked questions. To add insult to injury, they would not refund my money even though I never uploaded a single file to their servers.
