Simplicato's SPAM filtering was working adequately for staff until a few months ago when they rolled out their new SPAM filtering technology. I immediately had to turn off filtering of their messages because everything was getting picked up. My extensive whitelist was being ignored and even inter-domain traffic was getting picked up! Calls to tech support were basically "we're working on it". Still today, the filter is overly aggressive and the fact that it takes at least an overnight for new whitelisted entries to get picked up is totally unacceptable.

In general, however, they're very good with service and reliability. I just wish they'd improve their SPAM filter so there aren't so many false positives.

This used to be a top flight company. Aside from the lack of technical support, I kind of liked the service. Now it is just plain bad. Technical support never has a clue, if you can get them at all.

When I asked for a detailed answer I was treated with some rather terrible remarks. When I pay for a service I expect it to work and if it doesn't then I expect to be told the truth the first time, and recognized for my contribution to the companies salaries.

We decided the best thing is to go to Real Metrics and saw Simplicato's atrocious rating for which we were uniquely familiar and went to Mailtrust instead.

The service is lousy. The mail servers seem to be down more than they are up. Everytime I call support I hold on for 45 minutes before I get put into voicemail. The price for the service is more than most companies and yet the level of service and support has declined every month that I have been there. Even Simplicato's owner will not take interest in critical problems that affect my company. He just blows off a call if he happens to pick it up.

I do not recommend Simplicato Services to anyone. If you are an IT Manager beware you will lose the trust of your end user community.

I have used Simplicato for a number of years and was very happy with them until recently. About a week ago they rolled out a new improved spam filter. Over a few days, my false positives went from zero to a few percent to 100%. I have had no response from support to several emails I have sent. I had to disable spam filtering and am now searching for a replacement email provider.

I had to turn to an outsourced solution because managing my own server was too time consuming. I eventually chose Simplicato because of all the services I checked out, and they all had the same spiel, they were the most upfront. They told me they had some issue but that they took measures to make sure it would happen again. Well since I have been with them I have not had an outage, or a single complaint from my end-users. I have also experience that tech support is responsive to me even when I am asking a bone headed question.

I have only enjoyed great customer service. Since I switched to simplicato on may last year, I have only experienced 2 issued that were resolved within the same day. When I had a question, my calls have always been attended by a live person who seemed very knowledgeable.

We are a current customer of Simplicato, but I don't know for how long. Our email has been down several times the past few months and have had on and off problems for the past year. I understand that sometimes things happen which are beyond a company's control, but the way in which you handle the problems are a true measure of a company and Simplicato has FAILED.

It is not acceptable to continually tell your business customers that their email is down and "I'm not sure when it will be fixed." Even if that is the case, at least apologize.

Tech support is rude except for Jeff, who is very nice. Uptime is unpredictable... was down last week for almost 6 hours and EXTREMELY slow all day prior to going down. Most of the time, access via webmail is very slow... I perform other work in separate tabs or windows, and sometimes wait as much as a minute for my mail to load.

I've also experienced erratic issues that go away quickly but are very annoying like losing an email you're composing in webmail when you hit send; or only being able to access the server intermittently... just enough so that you call, it's working and when you hang up... it's not.

I am planning on switching email hosts, but don't have experience with any other companies, and I'm hoping that this is not the norm. It's kind of hard to run a business not knowing how dependable your email is.

Tech support is rude and disrespectful. Won't be using them anymore.
