STAY AWAY FROM READYHOSTING. They are so bad and so incompetent that I would not want anyone else to suffer like I have over the last two years. I have a very simple site with a MS Access database. They are constantly losing the linkage to my database and I have to open a case to have it relinked every three weeks. Then they say the site is fixed when in fact they have done nothing or actually brought the entire site down. They NEVER provide escalation to a human being that I can speak with and hide behind tickets and chat all the time. They are gutless wimps with crap for a service. If you decide to go with them after reading this, I laugh at your foolishness and soon to be wrecked website.

Readyhosting company is charging $160 as a domain renewal fees. this is completely a hidden cost and not mentioned in the first place.

When I signed with Ready Hosting they stated they will pay the domain re-registration fee as long as I was hosted by them. Now I received an email stating my domain name expired and I need to pay tucows $160.00 to re-instate the domain and additional fee for the registration. What authority can be contacted to go after Ready Hosting? I still have the origional contract sent to me regarding the terms of the contract.

This used to be a good host but Tech support is now awful. It takes 3-5 iterations to fix the simplest problems at 24 hours per iteration.

I've worked with Readyhosting for years now. It was enough to have to deal with the technical support folks who never give you the right information, but now I've engaged in an issue with the billing department.

I paid using their newly added Paypal link (for the first time). The never credited my account for the money received even after I emailed them my credit card statement and Paypal receipt which showed and validated the transaction took place.

I filed a Paypal dispute but they weren't able to help because it was not a tangible good that I purchased. However, when the Paypal dispute process put a hold on the funds and subsequently released the hold on the funds, ReadyHosting changed their story. Now they say, they DID have the money, but Paypal has taken the money back and given me a refund.


Even after I conferenced in Paypal an Readyhosting and they confirmed that they did not take back any money- I'm STILL waiting for them to fix the status of my account.

It is unbelievable to me that a company can function with this level of service. If I could get my money back, I would NEVER do business with them again. But, I'm fighting for $111.00 which is a full year's worth of web hosting.

Don't do business with them if at all possible. At some point you'll need them to step up to the plate and they don't have the support to handle it.

Frustrating services

On our website, we also have some pages with .aspx extensions, these pages are a big problem with readyhosting. Sometimes they work fine, but at other times they take over 30 sec to load, or you get a server error message. The visitor statistics are very unreliable. I have Google tracking code embedded to my pages as well, and the Google analytics report compare to the visitor statistics of readyhosting are very different. It seems sometimes they spike the ratings, and other times, it seems they don't record.
Customer service is slack as well. You are able to get a live chat person within 15 min or so, but after the chat, they make you wait for days and sometimes weeks at the time to respond or resolve the issue; that is if they take your complaint at all. All too often, they have server problems that customer service just tells you we are aware of it and working on it.
Once my service plan expires, I am planning to move to a more reliable hosting company.

The most unreliable

Their service is wholly unreliable. Databases have errors not caused by coding; page loading is abysmal. Now, my site shows that is has been loading for an hour.

Do not use ReadyHosting. It is absolutely the worst I have ever dealt with.

Stay Away!

Their customer service went down the tubes when they were bought out months ago. Now, they change their terms of service without notice and start charging cancellation fees. They have gotten their last dime from me! They were a great company a few years ago, but they are not worth the heart ache and money any more! If you too have been surprised by the cancellation fee, please contact me.

My website has been on redayhostings since our starting up in 2002.This fall readyhostings took my site down.I had received no email ( to either my personal or readyhostings mailbox) or regular mail billing, no phone call.After discovering this, I re-signed up , only to find my site no longer somes up on a Google search.Ready Hostings claimed that they emailed me a bill,after asking three timesd to be bumped up the chain of command, I eventually spoke with Rebecca, who confirmed that they had sent 3 bills to a different address than the one they have for me now ( one character in their email address for me was wrong,a missing hyphon).I tested the email address, and got a mail systems delivery failure notice, which they should have received as well . Rather than acknowledging their failure, Rebecca told me that I should check the operator agreement, it was my responsiblity to ensure that they had a valid email address for me. No apology offered, no assistance to get my site better placement on Google, no nothing .My next call wlll be about getting my money back.

Ok service, cheap, but they've been down a few times recently. I'm starting to lose faith in them. I also host with crystaltech which costs a bit more, but you get what you pay for.
