I had several sites hosted for about five years and Purple-paw were brilliant. Suddenly things started to go wrong: there were glitches and customer support didn't seem to exist any more, or if it did, seemed to be totally incompetant. If I got a reply at all it said that my query had been passed to the relevant department and that was the last I heard of it. Complaints were not responded to, and live chat permenantly unavailable. I and only conclude that the company has been taken over and tech support outsourced to India. I have moved all my sites to another host and would advise anyone thinking of using them as a host to go elsewhere

My company has had a reseller package from this hosting company for aprox 3years now and they used to be great. Now however thier service has become unbelievably bad. Not only do they have regular 'outages' and reguarly lose data,they seem to have no regard for the fact that WE look bad to OUR clients for the service we provide them through our reseller package. We are never given notice of our sites or emails going down, even when it's 'scheduled maintenance', so we in turn cannot warn our clients. We will be changing providers at our earliest convenience.
