I have been with Pacifichost for 2 years. I am incredibly happy with their service and support. Uptime and speed are good, tech support is awsome. Front line support can answer all most all the questions, and .Their email spam filtering is really really superb. The reason for that is that they have turned on all of SpamAssassins heuristic learning capabilities, with which SpamAssassin is effective.

I have seen some reviews here that aren't so nice (so much hate going around). I wanted to shed some light on this company. I've been with 2 other hosting companies who I'd rather not say since this review isn't about them. When I signed up with Pacifichost I wasn't lured in by their unlimited hosting but rather when I called them somebody answered (unheard of for quite a few companies) and he answered all my questions regarding their uptime, support and how they run their "unlimited" hosting.
I signed up and I have been here for a about 2 months and I can say I am quite satisified. I ran into script permission error and submitted a ticket and they fixed it within 3 hours. One day my site was down and I called them, the guy opened a ticket for me and it turns out my IP was blocked. I later learned they actually allowed you to unblock your own IP in the client billing area.
There have been a few times in which I noticed a speed issue with my site where it would take a few seconds to load but it doesn't happen very often and it occurs mostly with a test Magento install, which I was surprised to learn they supported Magento as while searching I found some hosts don't even allow it for some reason.
So in short I am happy with Pacifichost, I haven't experienced any downtime, they always answer when I call their phone lines and I receive a response through the ticket system in a reasonable period of time.
If I have to say anything negative it would be slight speed issues occasionally, their cPanel theme needs work, although I was told they are in the works on redoing it. Their live chat support can't do much other then open support tickets for you. Pacifichost isn't perfect but based on my interaction and level of service I have received it is worth it to me and it seems like they know what they are doing.

Initially I would like to express my sincere contentment for choosing PACIFICHOST VPS as my new hosting and Internet service provider.
Pacifichost 'Rocks' !!! I can definitely say this because as a webmaster, reseller and webdesigner for over three decades and having gone through Ups and Downs, ins and outs, transfers and migrations, BS and 'CowS' from many 'BIG' (I mean BIG) local and international Internet provider companies, PACIFICHOST was the ONLY ONE that met my needs and gave me the 'follow-up' that all webmasters want, always with a decent and honest SERVICE at a fare price. I have migrated through almost half of a dozen Hosting companies and Service Providers in the last year. Due to my sudden traffic increase and using shared hosting on a 'cheap' (but best) Hosting company in South America CPU and Memory usage went 'berserk'! I had to backup, transfer, configure and reinstall hundreds of Domains and SubDomains as many of you know, specially those who manage and host many websites. Easy, many will say but on the practice there is always something that goes wrong or doesn't match!
For those looking for a new host, Pacifichost doesn't give more nor less that what they advertise and I PERSONALLY RECOMMEND 101%. Forget unbelievable offers from out of this world, what you pay is what you get at Pacifichost! And I want to add that their support and 24 hrs. Online customer service beats from far (10x0) American Bluehost, S.American UOL, Brazilian Insite and many others that I am or was customer.
Anyone can find reviews about hosting companies all over the Internet. Reading many of them I have noticed that each individual has a personal opinion that usually is negative, why? I try to understand why everyone complains about the 'good ones' and you don't see any criticism about the 'rascals'? Is the competition making 'fake' reviews? Possible! I think so, don't you?
What I believe is that many people signup for services that they do not fully understand and expect more than what they are paying for or simply 'screw-up' the service or server! I want to make very clear to those who don't have experience or haven't 'hosted' around the world, in Brazil you pay TEN TIMES (yes 10x) more for hosting service and 99% is deplorable with ridiculous support online that even asks for support (yes, support need support!). I realized that they simply resell services and worst of all is that they manage to make a good service be a bad one! I read many reviews before signing up for Pacifichost services, most criticizing and only a few eulogizing it BUT the bottom line is that from my numerous years of self experience I just got hassle and disappointments with the other companies! I can affirm that among North American and South American hosting companies PACIFICHOST is one of the best companies and Internet services providers that someone can get, may be even around the globe!
Once more I want to say that I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Pacifichost to everyone needing professional Internet services supplied by an efficient and competent company and are concerned about the integrity of their business partner. For me, Pacifichost fulfilled all my needs and promptly attends my support or technical requests, that are not few nor simple. I use Pacifichost VPS and I can say it is perfect, actually more than what I expected after reading so much 'crap reviews' online

Previously I was using free hosting for my other websites and I have to admit I was a bit hesitant about signing up for paid hosting. After reading some positive reviews about Pacifichost, I decided to give them a try. I paid via paypal. their discount code saved a good sum of money for me. Their support team helped me with setup and explained me everything I needed to know. They even helped me with installation of some scripts for running of my site.
So far I have been very pleased. I have not noticed any downtime or slow browsing speed.
I especially love their support. They're easy, friendly and they seem to really care about their clients.
Price is great, reliability is great!
I've finally found a good home with pacifichost. Highly recommend these guys.

I like Pacifichost for hosting sites on a shared server. The servers are stable and fast. The control panel is easy to use and the price is low. Recently I had an issue with my SSL certificate installation. The installation was successful but https wont work for me. I was confused and tensed. But one of the technician identified the root cause and fixed the issue. Like wise there are many other instants were the tech team have help me. Their support is the best I have ever come across. No problems with my domain now and as yet any problem, I had their support. I wanted to give these guys the great review they deserve. If you fed up with your host providers, I would definitely suggest you to give these guys a look. I think they are just awsome..!!!!

I sign up for hosting lets say on Thursday, the website propagate fine 4hrs later. I work on my domain for 2 days and email seems to work fast and reliable. Then on lets say SUNDAY. i login to my email and i get a ERROR. i go to my domain hmongsociety.com and its OFFLINE i say ok maybe its downtime on pacifichost part. I wait for 2more days and go back and still OFFLINE. I cant believe i get no notification from them on the downtown. When i try to use there 24hr online chat support the same guy always come on his name is James Redfield(probably fake) he ignore all my question and never reply when he cant answer my question he ended the chat. I cant belive this company. "They also store your credit card on their website" they have a SSL but its register to "unknown" this is risky stuff. I have put them on my banks and credit card fraud alert. The price is ridiculous for this kind of server. Lets say i pick advance hosting and maybe they dont care about advance hosting but who cares if we pay for it we should get for what we pay for. I still think ebay host sellers are better than this hosting. they maybe on shared server but are more reliable and contacting them is easy and they understand and downtime is LESS than pacific host. If you read this on 12-15-2011 then my site is still offline and im only 5days into joining them. They really suck so STAY away. THE FFMPEG is a lie also its slow ass HELL!!! and doesnt work 100%

I am using pacifichost for more than 2 year. I used several other web hosts before coming to pacifichost and I had a lot of problems with downtime and slowness when the site wasn't down.I like this website very much because on this fast moving world, every one wants to have a website to develop their business or their company this web site offers very low money for creating a website so only i like it and this website has very bright feature.I would like to tell you that it is good service available under one roof. Their customer support is far superior than others (what I been advised by others, who use other providers). They have gone above and beyond to assist me with my sites, whenever needed.
Excellent pricing and plans! Speed connectivity is fast, network uptime is good.
There are so many useful features included into their hosting plans. Good for them.
I have been very satisfied with their services and I would highly recommend their services. I suggest that anyone new to site building and looking for a new provider or even looking to move from their existing host, place PacificHost on the top of their list.

It was killing me to have downtime all the time and so I researched hosts based on uptime and price, looking for a new home. Found PacificHost and decided to give them a try.
I have been hosting all my websites with PacificHost for over a year now with great satisfaction.
Their configuration has changed quite a bit in the time I've been with then, but they've been nothing but helpful in sorting out any issues that've arisen with migration. Their technical support is outstanding.

I am changing all 5 of my personal web sites as well as my other clients websites to Pacifichost.
Support is fast, efficient, friendly and understandable even for technical twits like I am. Every conversation was pleasant and helpful. Every question resolved to my satisfaction. No complains about stupidity of the questions or late time (few conversations went past midnight).
Reliability is 100% I honestly cannot remember the last downtime our site has had that wasnt because of something I did.
pricing is reasonable and servers are stable.
