Using M6.NET is like being charmed by a good salesman, buying the product. But when you have a problem NOBODY in the company wants to know and you realise that you have been suckered.

My time with M6.net at the start was good. The pricing is great. I had a few problems but the online ticket support system resolved them (without any explanation). I decided to upgrade my hosting package to include more domains. Them the problems started to come in thick & fast. Main problem was the site was taking along time to load, or not loading at all due to it not being able to find the server. This remained the problem throughout my 2nd year with them. Other problems included mail folders going missing, and PHP server variables not being standard. The slowness and lack of uptime impeded my business but they could not see a problem. Installing applications onto the server would not work as the length of time it took caused timeout errors. It would take around 2 weeks to get a stable link to install just one JOOMLA COMPONENT !!!! Very frustrating. M6.NET would offer no explanation and would say on my ticket..."Problem solved" then close the ticket. But the problem was not solved. Writing detailed tickets, writing to the managing director as you are requested to, and writing to their new customer liaison officer got me nowhere... actually not a single reply. So I had to kiss goodbye to around 8 months of paid hosting and move all of my websites to another host provider. Now that I have made I am so happy and cannot believe the difference in speed and service. My new host is like wearing a nice, comfortable pair of trainers whilst being with M6.NET is akin to wearing house bricks strapped onto your feet. M6.NET might be ok for the amateur hobbyist who has a couple of pages on his site, but for a business which needs to interact with its customers and use the latest technology then it is not suitable. Normally I don't write about these kind of things, but M6 have really upset me by not delivering what they had promised and have caused me a lot if inconvenience, money and angst. If you are reading M6.NET... you should not be in business with your poor level of service. Who wants to wait 30 seconds or longer for each page of their website to load? Which customer is going to wait around and keep reloading your page to get a stable connection? M6 have the equipment and systems, they have the technical expertise... but they don't know how to put it all together and don't value good customer service... it's all about selling hosting & products. Once they have got your money then you are basically on your own. Save yourself the heartache look elsewhere. All this is true and can be backed up if need be. This was my experience with M6.NET. I share my experience to save you the pain.
