i have been using m6 for some time now. you get what what you pay for. which really is nothing. there up time is horrible, in fact today since 8a.m. (mind you it is now 3p.m.) there entire network has been down. so basically if you are a reseller with them, all of the hosted sites that you are responsible for are all down, so all of your clients will be calling you, meanwhile m6 will not answer any of your emails, and their phone number, what a joke, it is a generic voice mail box.

also their control panel does about half of what they claim it does, sure the buttons to do things might be their, but most of the time the control panel ends up in an asp error.

If you are serious about your site, or your clients sites, then dont use a "joke" of a hosting company.

I would avoid them at all costs. they might be cheap, but they are also not a quality host.

I've been hosting with M6 as a reseller for over a year. The worst problem with them is that their service is email/ticket only, and it is a 24-hour turnaround with the best case scenario. Here's some of the worst problems I've had with these guys.

Intermittent Email for MONTHS
They used athe IMail server, which they claim was causing all sorts of problems and explained the long episodes of downtime and inability to send email. I've got another account with CI Host (I've been with them for 2 years for another domain) and they've been using IMail without any problems at all!

Suspended Service!
Now that I've waited 3 months for them to switch from IMail to SmarterMail Pro and everything SHOULD be working, I woke up this morning to find that they've suspended my account for reasons unknown. No warning, no contact, just a firewall error when you try to hit my sites. Of course, I have to enter a ticket and wait 24-hours to see what they have to say about it!

Bottom line, if you're planning on reselling, do yourself a favor and skip the shared plans like M6 and go with a dedicated solution like rackshack.net or someone that will at least pick up a phone when you call!

I originally went with this company to save a few bucks. It turned out to be a years worth of pain. First, they took 2 weeks to set up my account fully. When I gave up on them in week two and told them I wanted my money back since it took so long and was uncertain how long it would take to get service in the future. There response was no money back guarantee! To I told them to cancel my service and I would chock it up to a learning experience. I would not have hard feelings towards them if they didn’t continue charging my credit card. I reported them to my credit card company each month and got the money back b/c of their billing mistakes and lack of response to the card company. However, they kept charging my card. I tried everything I sent over a hundred emails to the “billing dept” and got only one response 5 months later. The guy I spoke to was very apologetic but in my opinion it was a little late for that. Since then I have had to cancel my credit card due the continued charging. Then once they couldn’t charge me anymore they threatened to report my billing problems onto my credit report and put my account into collections agency. Once again I tried and tried to contact them after receiving this letter. And again it took another week. They did get it straightened out that time, but it has been almost a year and I am still wondering if they will try to do anything.

What have I learned from this… don’t use a company that I can’t find any reviews on…

One more thing for anyone still considering m6.net as a possible host. They are not in Alabama. The NOC is in Alabama. Anyone that you need to talk to or discuss anything with is in Australia (hello time difference). Which means response times stinks. They take at least one day to get back to you. And that wonderful 888 number is just a voicemail number it means you leave a message and they might get back to you. Trust me I have left plenty of messages.
