service, barely exists.
sales, will tell you anything to get you to sign up
resolve issues, nothing is ever their fault (according to them)
technical assistance, nope, you cannot see logs that might provide any insight
Look if you need a website that is nothing but static, I would say your fine. Use them.
But they are blacklisted to death for spamming, so if you can get or send emails to a big chunk of the planet is doubtful.
If you do anything database related, or commerce related, they will make you insane, no remote access for databases.
They will tell you you can use the shared SSL - NOPE not for any php java or asp commerce!
I really have given them every chance to get there you know what together, without any resolve. BuhBye lunarpages, you really do suck.

I have used Lunarpages for all my domains for many years and in the last 6 months I have seen a DRASTIC decline in service and reliability. The most frustrating is that their email server turn into black holes and they never tell you about the outage/problems. Many of our customers get pissed off saying that they sent several emails and since we never got them we couldn't respond to their questions etc.
I am looking into a new host for all my domains.

They don't know anything about hosting Windows accounts and the entire time i was there it didn't really seem to bother them. This company is a classic case of overexpansion (getting too big too quick) -- if you read reviews of them from 3+ years ago they apparently were a great service company at one time. Now look at the kind of reviews they get. They changed their business model to increase their volume and revenues but apparently they didn't think about investing in additional personnel to handle the additional work that comes with additional customers. what bothered me the most is that they were quite arrogant and self-assured: anyone in their eyes that dare criticize their service must be from a competitor. run from this company.

This company is serius oversellers. Stay away from them. You wait on hold for ever for tech support. The e-mail doesen't work sometimes. The server has gone down. Very bad. STAY AWAY

At a time when service is "out the window" almost anywhere in any industry, Lunar Pages is quick, efficient, knowledgeable, courteous and effective in handling anything from a newbie question to more complex issues. Such a refreshing, helpful experience! I would highly recommend them to anyone whether for a family site or a multi-million dollar company!

worst hosting company i've ever used

Their servers are slow, support is non-existant (3 times when our website was down they did not respond for 2-5 DAYS) and very unfriendly.
Even worse, they just suspended our account for non-payment, but did not bother to email us.
If you want a real host, the best by far is ICDsoft
(they actually answer their support tickets)

LunarPages Bad hosting company.
there phone support waiting is around 50 minutes and no solution on phone. On ticket first two - three replies comes quickly then no reply for long time.
they suspended my a/c saying that i spammed and the email they refred is very old and was using some script which was removed a long time back
one of other site they suspended saying that there are some script those are not safe. I made that site using Joomla only and when i asked for more details there one no details.
My business got suffered for 7days andi had a lost of huge $s..

The price is great, lots of domains hosted besides the start one. Might improve some user interfaces, but that should be a bonus. I have 2 accounts and 4 domains hosted. Very satisfied, overall.

We purchased a custom dedicated hosting package. Though the price was pretty good, every thing else sucked. 4 days after paying, we still dont have our account information or access to our server. Initially they responded prettly quickly to our ticket, but after 2-3 iterations later, the tickets were never answred.
We picked this company after looking at reviews on the web and for their price. But our experience with them so far is totally and extremely unsatisfactory.
We are going to ask for a full refund since we were very unhappy with Lunar Pages.
Some of the rating we provided above are not applicable to us yet, since we havent seen any movement on our hosting package.

I just started with a company that is hosted by Lunar Pages (Looney Pages is more like it). My predecessor never did backups of our site or db, so i paid LP to restore a db table for me.
They took my credit card information and a week later they told me that they were unable to restore my db table, as they had lost all backup information during a server maintenance routine!
No 24/7 support. They are on California time, so i have to wait until 11am to even try to call someone. I have waited 12, 23, and 18 minutes for phone support. Their forums show that others have waited 50 minutes before giving up.
When the DO answer the phone, you get level 1 support, which means they have no idea what you are talking about.
I'm not sticking around to find out what else is wrong...
