lots of downtime with lonex, and slow down of servers around busy times of the day.
support is good but the downtime is starting to hurt my site so will be moving at the end of this package.

package states 1500gb transfer a month but don't expect to get anywhere near that, i got a email from them when my site hit 300gb in one month and moved to a less powerful server pushing up my cpu useage.
with lonex you get what you pay for cheap and cheerful hosting , but when your site get busy its time to move on.

Great web host! I am with Lonex for more than two years and I never had any single problem. Clean control panel, incredible uptime, cheap prices and a really great customer support including an online chat! Don't look any further, you got the right provider... Keep up the good work Lonex!

I've been with lonex a little over 6 months. Right now, my site is down... I wasn't going to go online and smear them when I decided to leave their hosting some 2 days ago, but they haven't even provided me the courtesy to stay online while I pull my material off. Currently the database system is down.

In my time with them, the service has been spotty... 5-30 minute outages that might normally go undetected unless you're online all the time, but still doesn't account for a high availibility system.

In the last 2 months, my site has been down no less than 10 times... 2 were major, I'm currently in the middle of a 3rd major outage (going on 3 hrs). Before that, there was a "Major Security Breach" where we were all told to change our passwords.

Long story short. They're cheap, their service suffers major outages, other people on the shared service bring the machines down all the time...
steer clear of these guys if you don't want problems.

Here's a quote from a customer service email of theirs:

"Currently there are problems with the server which are hard to solve. The administrators are working on the problem but they don't have any exact information about when or how it is going to be solved."

We like Lonex, and are glad that we signed on with you. The file manager is very clear, transferring documents is a breeze, and the editor is excellent. The only factor that is proving to be a problem for us is the downtime when trying to upload images. We have had to wait for over two hours each evening in order to complete our work.

Well our serers go Down alot, you charged me 10 dollars just to get my site up for no reason... And now i get 2000 emails a day by some guy saying download attached email... This is sad guys.

There was a bug in the ftp upload script which they corrected within 24 hours of reporting it.
