Require Customer Service - there is none. Submit a trouble ticket, wait 3 weeks for a reply not a resolution. Up Time - down 6 hours a week. V-Deck features, do not function, SQL - dysfunctional.
Loose your website, don't ask IPower for assistance, clients e-comm site disappeared, no assistance for 5 days, no back-up, attempts by me to reload, not functioning. Moved the e-comm client, myself and all other clients to GoDaddy.com. This organization is as dysfunctional as the Bush administration. I wonder if they were purchased by 1and1.com?

I've been using this company for years.
I purchased another plan for our new website from I Power Web. I have never experienced befor this much terrible customer service since yesterday. My phone is still expecting their answering from this morning. Also I been stuck in front of my computer waiting for online conversation from this morning.
No explanation for nothing so far.
I haven't move any step further.
Their service was good but worst for these days.

All these reviews are right on target. Stay away from these guys. I'm moving my site tomorrow. My biggest problem is that email that is sent to any account on my domain disappears...the sender does not get a bounce back message, nor do I get the message...it just disappears! Tech support also hangs up on you after the two (2) hour wait on the telephone!

These guys have the worst customer service, worst reliability, and worst bed-side maners. I can no longer access my e-mail accounts on the web. My customers can not access key areas of my webiste since Ipower moved my account. In the process of moving my account to a diferent host.

IPOWER was great early on, but they have gotten too big, and clearly cannot support the demand. I have spent coulntless hours on the phone for problems that they have created, such as moving the site to new servers and forgetting to bring your information, completely oblitrating your sub-domains. We have VERY unhappy customers, and with their recent upgrade, we can't even get into our own domain to do anything. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE, EVEN IF YOU HAVE TO PAY MORE.

My email has been down 5 days now - first guy Friday said he opened a ticket - I called back Monday and after being on hold 1.15 hours was told the guy I spoke to Friday did ZERO on opening a ticket.
Now, today, I called back to check on ticket opened yesterday - been on hold 2 hours and counting. No BS - 2 HOURS!!!!!!!!!!! The first asshole that answered immediately said before I could even get the reason for my call out that he was transferring me to resellers area (I am not a reseller of hosting sites so I got no clue why my site is marked as a reseller site) - AND THAT WAS OVER AN HOUR AGO.
Worse yet, my business email is out of service still and it is costing us cash not having it working.
There customer service is the pits. THey are history when I renew next year.

This host was once quite acceptable by lately they have become useless. I have been hosted with them for 4 years and the tech support they have given me in the last 6 weeks is appalling, my site was down for 4 weeks and it took them that long to discover what was causing the problem, after giving 3 or 4 different reasons for the problem, my email is still not working and they are not even responding to my complaints, DO NOT SIGN UP WITH THIS COMPANY.

Say you need to transfer your domain over to a new webhost because they have better services - well GOOD LUCK!
Not only do they make it impossible to cancel, but I am still unable to transfer my domain. I get the run around from live chat, e-mail and phone support. I even went to the company who owns my domain (onlineinc.com) and they terminated my chat session and told me to e-mail them. I wasn't even able to ask a question.
If you have real business to do and count on your domain name then don't use iPowerWeb. Its worth spending the extra bucks for better service, or you will pay for it. Luckily I didn't use them for my business domain but I used to conduct business under the domain name they are still holding hostage.

IPowerWeb was great many moons ago, now they don't do a darn thing. We've been down more than we've been up. All they keep asking for is the last four digits of the Card Card used to register - what do they need that for to fix the server problem?
We are moving to a new host ASAP.

I have had service with iPower for several years now and have endured an increasing number of "server failures", "fires at one of our buildings", "moving our servers", etc. In the past 6 months, I have gone from a monthly email-server outage to almost weekly failures. I get the same excuses time and again: "You're on an old server", "We're having problems with THAT mail server", and so on.
My plan expires in less than two months and I'm already shopping for a more reliable host ... either 1and1 or Powweb have proven to be very dependable for me, so it's time for me to migrate elsewhere.
