I have been a long time customer of Web.com / Interland. Their technical expertise is horrible. Their infrastructure is the worst. Email outages for hours. Web applications down for hours. They blame your software and then close the ticket. The error says it's an IP Transport error. Not my doing. I asked if they supported Crystal Reports. The answer I got back was, your account uses Web Trends !!! Horribly incompetant.

Horrible, Awful, Slow, Stupid, Morons, etc........
Absolutely the worst hosting on the planet. I'm moving to Bluehost or Host Gator.

Web.com Interland is the WORST - Review

This server is down every other day, for HOURS. You WILL get tons of complaints from your site visitors, and Web.com (Interland) WILL LOSE your content. Be warned: do not use Interland (Web.com) unless you like not having anything work right... ever. And when you call customer support, after voice mail hell, you're talking to someone in a Columbian call center. At night it's the Phillipines. Web.com Interland are the VERY WORST webhost in existence, be very afraid.

Long time and now former customer (as soon as I and my many friends find another hosting company **suggestions welcome**). Can't see how they can keep in business if they keep treating their clientele this way. Sad really...
History:
Interland (now web.com)cancelled my account without notification or reason. After account was restored, FTP client goes down 3 times in a week (locked account as far as I can tell). Phone support is scripted and the uncooperative tech refused to get a manager when asked.
Goodbye Interland, hello ???

One of my key customers tried to send me a Unix dump file that was 4MB long. The Interland email system bounced the message saying it was too large. Getting technical support from Interland was all but impossible. I need to run my business - not Interland's. Interland was totally unresponsive to my situation. After many years of their service, I guess it is time to move on.

Interland, now known as Web.com, has outages so often they may as well stop boasting about Uptime and just list the Downtime. Their servers go down about once a week like clockwork and stay down for HOURS. TERRIBLE customer service, too. Hope you like talking to someone in the Philippines, because that is what will happen!

Customer since 1999. Getting ready to quit Interland. Email problems have persisted for the last 6 month. There solution is to move to very limited service called Intermail. Better to move to another Hosting Company.

When they took over Innerhost Shared Hosting everything about them absolutely sucked. I'm still with them 2 years later because I'm locked in to a specialized component on the server. Their customer service has improved mildly but I still spend at least an hour a week on the phone with them trying to get my server running. Run far away from Inteland.

I was with communitech.net for five years when they got bought out by Interland. About a month after the "changeover", my web service started getting spottier, my server started going down, and tech support started sucking MAJORLY.
They kept trying to get me to move to their regular, more expensive plans in order to fix problems that I shouldn't have been havign (like slow service, etc).
The final insult was when my account was cancelled for non-payment when they never billed me, and my site and email taken offline. Then they refused to restore service without immediate payment, even though I had been a customer for almost six years.
THEN, they "accidentally" billed my credit card when I had asked them not to for three days, putting me in jeopardy of bouncing other payments and facing NSF fees.
To "make it up to me" they claimed they would move me to a new server for no charge, when in fact they simply charged my credit card a new fee on the SAME DAY!
They also moved the internal DNS before I could do a MySQL dump, and attempted to refuse to get that data back from tape (this is over 3.5 YEARS of data that they tried to just tell me "sorry, it's gone").
There is even more drama with this web host. I was happy with this host for 5+ years and then in one week they caused me so much heartache and aggravation that I had to switch.
The only saving grace was a great guy in tech support named Mike who used to work for Communitech. He was smart, helpful and friendly, and made me sad for the way that communitech used to be. I'm sorry that you got bought out by a bunch of idiot greedy thugs, Mike!
STAY AWAY from INTERLAND lest you be DRIVEN MAD!
