I've had Web hosting with several different Web hosting companies. But none of them has upset me more then Inmotion Hosting.
When you own a website there are certain things you have no control over such as somebody deliberately launching spam attacks against your website.
Thats what happened to be mine and Inmotion Hosting suspended my account without warning multiple times. Then they told me to get a new hosting company after their own support team crashed their Web server and blamed it on me.
I was not on their cheap web hosting plan neither. I was paying for their Pro plan which allows you to have up to 25 domains. So ideally you should be allowed to have 25,000 visitors a day or more.
So anytime that there was a spam attack on my website against one of my domains. Instead of their technical support doing the smart thing and temporary removing the domain from the account and informing me.
They basically suspend the entire account shutting down all my websites and send me an e-mail. Saying all your websites have been suspended.
So instead of losing revenue for just one website. I lost my revenue on all my websites.
When I contacted their customer support they put me on hold and then was forced to transfer because no one knew how to deal with anything.
If you want your website shut down with absolutely no warning then Inmotion Hosting is the Web host for you.

Over the past few years we have tried out many hosting companies. Last year we decided to sign up with InMotion hosting, because we needed a new hosting account and wanted to try out something new. It was a good choice. We never had any problem with them, I have contacted the technical support only once with a minor issue. The price is higher comparing to other hosting that offers the same features, but I think it worth the extra money. Server speed is great, and the uptime is well. In these 8 months of hosting I never saw my sites down. Hope this will stay for long. :) I highly recommend using their service.

I recently moved to InMotion from VodaHost and I have to say that it was a smooth transition. I had some problems importing my databases, but InMotion support took care of it for me and had my sites up and running again in less than an hour.

Terrific service. It was past midnight and I couldn't establish an ftp connection. I called for support. Their phone announcement said enter 1 for sales, 2 for support. I punched "2" and in less than ten seconds I was speaking to a service rep (an American by the way, for those who care). He asked me one simple security question and then solved the problem in less than a minute. You can't do better than that!

I had used several Web Hosts before finding them and they are beyond what I expected. Fast, courteous service and no downtime. My websites pull up fast and I've never noticed abuse of their network that slows down my site since I'm on a shared hosting server.

I've had no problems with Inmotion in the last year. However, the other night (late Sunday) my sites were hacked and taken down. I submitted a help ticket and within minutes the team had recovered by site from the previous days backup and I was up and running again! They also gave me some sensible advice on how the hackers may have got in and what I could do to protect myself.
Later that night I made a stuff up and the team responded really quickly and helped me fix the problem.
Overall very, very happy with the team there. Very good value shared hosting.
