When the service is up its great. But if you have any and I mean any problem you get ZERO response. All my sites are down right now. On a "plus" so are theirs. Filed complaints with the BBB and they did not respond and somehow thats ok with the BBB. I have sites on hostforweb as well and get prompt service. The hard part is the space and bandwidth you get for a cheap price. It's like crack once you try it you can't leave it.

If you are in need of great uptime and customer service go somewhere else. This dog seems like its on it's last legs.

I had been a long time customer with them as www.mazecreator.com. I needed the ASP hosting service and they performed well when I did the research over 2 years ago. I had been wanting to change over to PHP technology since I knew my 3 year contract would be up in 2007 but didn't see the urgency.

Starting in the Fall of 2006, there server started to fail. Even their main website was down. They fixed it a few times (after serveral emails and no answers on the phone). It started to happen much more frequently and I had no choice but to quickly translate my site into PHP and move off of their server. I did that just in time! Their server went down and to my knowledge, they still haven fixed the problem.

I made the mistake of leaving my Email account with them. That started to report (DEVICE FULL), ran out of hard drive space. So I deleted a little bit of mail and could access the system. I quickly download all messages to my PC, within 10 - 15 minutes, their support team had deleted ALL email off of that server! Wow! I would never use them again and recommend no one else trust them at this point.

In all of the 5+ years I've been with Infinology never has their support team responded promptly to a trouble ticket.

The response time has become worse since the fall of 2006, when the service itself became unreliable, and they not only refused to respond to trouble tickets, but actually began to DELETE THEM. Over the past five weeks particularly, they have deleted, unanswered, 5 separate trouble tickets about their email services. I have been unable to send email through either Outlook or their webmail for over a month now. I have even sent them the verbatim error messages the webmail tool has generated, but nothing.

Amazingly, their billing system continues to function perfectly. How interesting.

They are scum and I will never do business with those deadbeats again.

I have used infinology.com for a couple of years. No problem until several months ago. First I had problems renewing my hosting plan and the company closed down my website. It took a couple of days to prove I paid.

Now I receive my emails through Outlook Express, but my mailbox at infinology.com does not delete my transferred mail and it fills up quickly. After my infinology.com mailbox is full I can not receive any emails. People have told me they do not receive my emails, but I do not receive the "MAILER-DAEMON@bouncehost" message stating my mail was not received. Additionally, I have not received email that people have sent to me. I do get the junk mail, however.

As of 12-21-06 I have numerous emails in my Express outbox, but infinology.com will not send my emails. I get the following message:

"Your server has unexpectedly terminated the connection. Possible causes for this include server problems, network problems, or a long period of inactivity."

Over the last couple of months I have emailed technical support six times because of billing, email and down server problems. Not one email response. I have called 877-821-47267(sales, tech and billing) and have had no response. The local phone book number for Infinology does not work. It is scaring not knowing whether you are receiving email or your emails are being forwarded. This company is having problems. The Los Angeles Better Business Bureau gives Infinology an "F" rating, which means:

"We strongly question the company’s reliability for reasons such as that they have failed to respond to complaints, their advertising is grossly misleading, they are not in compliance with the law’s licensing or registration requirements, their complaints contain especially serious allegations, or the company’s industry is known for its fraudulent business practices."

In the past I had no problems, but I recommend that people do not use Infinology. I am transferring my web hosting services. Losing "sent and received" email is too risky to stay with Infinology.

As everyone stated, no support and bad opperation of servers. Mail is the worst.

My company and an associated company have five virtual sites hosted on Infinology. Today no email. Then customer calling saying they send messages days ago.
We have contacted 3 times in three months about a billing dispute and no response. I've called 3 numbers about the email problem, no response. We've told our bank to refuse payment to infinology hoping this will force them to contact us. Tomorrow I'm calling my lawyer. These jerks are costing me money.

I had cancelled hosting with Infinology about a year ago because I no longer needed a web host. I received a cancellation email, but there was no confirmation number, and after checking my control panel, I found out that they didn't cancel the web hosting.

When Infinology sent me an email that I was due to renew, I re-cancelled the account on October 22nd, 2006, and received a cancellation confirmation number via e-mail, which I printed out.

Infinology had my old credit card number and tried to charge it in November anyways, even though I had the cancellation number. The charge was denied, but I wanted to follow up regardless.

I called and left a message on the only voicemail box that wasn't full, then emailed them to let them know about the cancellation number. I didn't receive a call back, and only an automated email reply. I called a few days later, and got a hold of some Asian woman whose English was difficult to understand at best, but finally she said she saw the cancellation, and she'd take care of it.

I wasn't terribly worried they would re-charge, because the card number was no longer valid, and my bank had called me to ask if the charge was valid, and I told them it was not, so they declined it. That, I thought, was that.

Now I'm very upset. Infinology looked up my debit card (which was NOT listed in my account information any longer, so this had to have been done by an ACTUAL person, not an automated program), which I had used initially before switching over to my credit card. They had the NERVE to charge my debit card, which, of course, went through in the amount of $83.40 as of December 13, 2006, nearly two full months since receiving a cancellation confirmation number and nearly a year from the first cancellation.

I am now on my way to my bank to dispute the charge, after having tried unsuccessfully for two days to get a hold of someone there; after reading all of these reviews and the information over at Rip Off Report, I am sure I will never be able to get a hold of someone.

Infinology, this is fraud, and I've already reported you to the attorney general. It's also really too bad for you that my wife is a writer for PC World Magazine and knows the person who handles the Consumer Watch columns. Why get mad when you can get even??

So I'm reading about reviews of your services, figured Ok this PillowFist guy/gal has a legit complaint, but maybe Ill still sign up and try you guys out since the price is so low. But with your response, I don't think so!!!! "We don't need your business" Are you kidding me buddy? It is no wonder your company provides terrible customer service and service period with that kind of attitude! Insane! Your company will be lucky to stay a float with that kind of attitude and business thinking! Just because of that I'm going elsewhere, and just wanted to congratulate you on one of the stupidest business moves of all time!!!! In fact, I'm pretty sure you will see this all over the net and in emails as one of the stupidest things a person or business could post for the general public to read! I'm sorry you've had difficulty using our service. Feel free to shop with our competitors and if you think you'll receive better or more prompt service, go with them. We have a wide range of clientelle who rave about us, so we don't need your business

If there was a negative number on this scale I would seriously think of giving this company one. Seems like everyone else has had the same run around and same issues with trying to contact this place. It blows my mind how a company with such bad customer service & Tech Support can stay in business.
I had my control panel password changed on me out of the blue, and never received the e-mail from the 'lost password?' button. That's when the real agony bean, trying to contact this company is next to impossible! E-mails, phone calls, letters in the mail, BBB, you name it I tried it. When I sent my cancel account notification in through their website, I did receive an e-mail stating my account would be canceled within 24 hours. My question is within 24 hours of what? It took them 3 weeks and a BBB contact. Now I begin the fight of trying to get my domain name unlocked...BOY DO I LOOK FORWARD TO THAT!! GEEEZ

We were with Infinology for about 3 years with a low traffic website and uptime was pretty good. Just a week ago, we cancelled the service. They never tell you when your service/domain is about to expire and the customer service is non-existent. As a webmaster, I would submit trouble tickets and they wouldn't respond to them. I would call them and leave messages that they wouldn't response to either. We finally ended up cancelling by leaving a message and stopped payment on the credit card. Infinology still hasn't contacted us. The web server is on auto-pilot and they never update their website technologies (eg. they are still on PHP4.) Safe yourself some agony and do not sign up with these people!
