ICDsoft support goes above and beyond the call of duty. With under 5 minutes they contact you and have a courteous and professional solution.

I've had and still have hosting elsewhere, but I can't recommend ICDSoft any higher! While they don't have phone support the ticketing system is fast and they are very responsive.
You are aware that REAL people are dealing with your issues and seem eager to help. That said, I haven't had many issues and no complaints.
I cannot say the same with other hosting companies I'm using.

It is quite surprising that many web hosting review services do not list ICDSoft.
I have been with some other web hosting services before subscribing to ICDSoft, and nothing compares to the level of customer service that is provided by ICDSoft.
While the technical aspects of the service are great, and the control panel is very easy to use and feature-rich - it is clear that the customer and service and technical support at ICDSoft is the best in the industry.
All support inquiries go through a unique ticketing system and are answered in a matter of minutes, day or night.
The answers - as opposed to other services - are personalized and professional.
The pricing scheme is very simple and transparent - for a small site, take one package and for bigger sites, simply get an additional package - doubling your storage/traffic etc.
Truly a unique service and highly recommended.

their online support is very good, and helpful. I've also had excellent uptime - think that they manage their servers well.
Good range of features, although some users might find their webspace limit and bandwidth limit a little restrictive, if they have heavy file sizes.
Apart from that, their email manager could be improved to allow for greater flexibility to filter out spam email and manage timezones globally.

I dont really think I can add much. I have used this company since 2002. I have 5 sites with them and have recommended them many times. I hope they keep up their great service. The $6 or $10 a month is worth it and I hope they keep their great prices.

I just switched from a dirt-cheap host with dirt-poor service to ICDsoft less than a week ago, and I already feel cleaner. I accidentally signed up for the $10/mo plan when all I needed was the $6/mo plan. I asked for a credit and they immediately refunded me the difference ($48 for the year). $6/mo is more than my old host, but the way I look at is I'll skip my large Starbucks Cappuccino just once a month and there's the difference - sooo worth it (my doctor tells me I need to cut back on the caffeine anyway)!!!

We have been with ICDSoft for approximately 18 months. In our business the Technical Support and network reliability is more important than subtle pricing differences.
Without any hesitation - The technical support is exceptional. These guys will not let you down. And the network uptime is exceptional as well.
Any improvements that I would like to see ?
I hope that ICDSoft decide sometime in the near future to host Microsoft platform as well.

I have been hosting with powweb and free host before signup with ICDSoft. Powweb give you big space and bandwidth with cheap pricing but the service & support is not good enough. I experiece slow n downtime almost every month with powweb. But im not going to talk about powweb here.
If you looking for really good service & support, signup with ICDSoft. They didnt give large space and bandwidth BUT THE SERVICE AND SUPPORT IS FANTASTICS! But you can upgrade later..
Within an hour after signup i can login my control panel(CP). Thats fast coz when i signup with powweb it took me a day. Goto CP is easy, bcoz using ur own domain like this: www.yourdomain.com/cp/
I like the CP, coz it really nice and helpful. On the left navigation menu, there is LIVE stats/information about your space, bandwidth, ftp account, etc.
If you using mysql4, they recommended to chg to mysql5. Not forcing but as early notice as they might be chg to mysql5 completely soon. Been with ICDSoft for 3 month, yet they havent tell us anything about moving to mysql5. Wht i mean here is, they let you know early and let you prepare for it first. more nice about them is, they provide a tools to convert your database from mysql4 to mysql5. At first i was thought it going to take long time to convert as my database size is 300mb++. But it only took less then 1 minute. Some other hosting only give you tutorial you to do it.
They provide you free statistics(Webalizer) and you can set the password. Accessing the stats also using ur domain. I send them 1 ticket, they then respond me back less then hour. They keep their promise :)

I moved to ICDSoft from a horrible hosting service and have been completely impressed with their service.
Uptime was a particular concern for me, and I am happy to report that in the 10 months I have been hosted with ICDsoft my website has been offline once, for less than 30 minutes.
Tech support tickets I submitted when first moving my site over were answered quickly, and answered by a human (not a generic form letter response).
I am entirely satisfied with ICD's service, and will definately be keeping my site with them.

One month after signing up for their basic service, they upped all customers' memory and bandwidth usage 33% each. Can't complain about that. Haven't had any noticeable downtime, and load times have been quick for everyone I speak to about my site nationwide. Take a look at their business model as well... no debt? these guys are on their game.
