Awesome, but...

I love ICDSoft and I would recommend people switching to it just for two reasons - uptime and support. Till today I have never seen my site go down and it always is incredibly responsive. But what really rocks is the support. Their web-based support system is superlative. I have had to contact them on 3 occasions and each time the response came within 30 minutes. When I switched from ICDSoft to Dreamhost for one of my sites, the process was completely painless. A month later ICDSoft sent me an email confirming that they were going to delete the stuff that I formerly had on their domain.

Price-wise they are good, but the main shortcomings that they have are in terms of the space that they offer. 1GB on the $6/month plan and 10GB on the $10/month plan is quite less when compared to the generous sites like Bluehost or HostGator, but suffices for people not into extensive content management. That brings me to my next niggle - Just recently they added support for Gallery, but you cannot add your blog or other CMS tools like Joomla to your host. On the upside, though, they add software only when it has been extensively tested. Lastly, their plans are for single domains only (multiple subdomains, but single domains). I had two domains there at one time and still have one. However I intend to switch the domain over to another provider because of the simple fact that I own 5 domains and the cost of buying space for each of the on ICDSoft turns out to be high.

So if your space requirements are not monstrous, if you are not into things like content management or blog publishing and if you are going to manage one domain (or even 2 domains), go for ICDSoft. By all means. It is the best hosting provider for single domains.

Best tech support

I have been with icdsoft for about 4 years now. They have answered EVERY ONE of my email questions within 5 minutes. They are completely reliable. They do not offer the extra software that other companies do, but I am happy to recommend this web host for my clients with regular websites.

I had several websites at icdsoft, this is a really great host.
I left them a few months ago because i wanted to put all of my websites on 1 account, and that is not possible with them.
there support and uptime is great!!!

Good Value, Service & Reliability

I've been using them since 2005 and I'm very happy with them. They use very good equipment in high quality data centers; the service is very reliable and they provide very quick and capable support. If you look at many of the other hosts rated as 10 on this site, they have no formal review and only a couple of user reviews. In many cases, they offer much less than ICDSoft for the same or more money.

Great Hosting

This was my first web host, which was recommended by friends that use the service. They said it was the best. I have not used any other service but if there is a service better, it has to run the site for me. I was told that with ICDSoft I will receive prompt technical support and server uptime is almost 100% - mine has been at 100% since signing. Response to my really naive questions have been answered within minutes with clear and precise answers that even I, a newbie can understand. For my first web host, they are setting the bar really high for any other host that I would consider.

Outstanding Support

We have several sites that we host at ICDsoft as a reseller. I remain with them because of their outstanding support. I have found no other host that responds as quickly as they do (average of 5 min. or less). Often they will go beyond what you ask of them (example: fixing code or scripts). I stay because customer service is a rarity these days and ICDsoft is by far the best from a hosting service that I have encountered.

So far, so good.

Installing my site on the host was totally painless. Since then the site, including some perl scripts, has run faultlessly.

I rated customer service a 10, but actually I've never dealt with any of the reps. That's because I've had no problems, which is exactly what I hoped for.

The Best of the Best

A web hosting company needs to do only two things, provide fantastic uptime percentages and fantastic support. ICDSoft is the only web hosting company I've used so far that gets this. They also post the uptime stats for every server from the day it went online. Trust me, the stats are impressive!

Support questions are typically answered within ten minutes. I don't mean your question is acknowledged within ten minutes and will then be answered later. I get the answer in less than 10 minutes, sometimes in less than 5 minutes. Does not matter what time of day or day of the week. It's almost scary how good their support is:)

You won't see lots of ads for them. They don't have lots of bells and whistles. They simply are the best of the best.
