While i must say hostingzoom and resellerzoom started out just fine in recent times they have gone down hill so fast i cant understand how they could let things get so bad. Only thing they do well it seems is sign up new customers. Oh they also are on the dot with charging for services. Even if you have asked them not to renew as i did. They still charge and are more than reluctant to refund. They will offer a credit note which is not much use if the only thing you want to do is end the relationship.
As i said things started out fine and i couldn't be happier. I was so happy i had three different accounts with them. Two reseller accounts and failover account. The only one i still have is the failover and it wont be renewed. Fall over would be a better name. Anyway back to the facts. First the Asia pacific reseller account on the Singapore server became so overloaded as to be unusable. Server loads of 26 were seen at peak times, when i could log in at all that is. I could wait more than five minutes for a page to display. The UK server was fine for over a year and then server loads went through the roof and next came the server being blacklisted for spam. I lost so many clients in a few days that i had no choice but to relocate.
Tech support either never respond to tickets or took so long it was easier and faster to move accounts to another provider. If they did respond it was usually things are working fine now response even when it was not.
Billing department to my mind and experience is only interested taking payments. Even when i complained bitterly about the poor server performance the best they can offer is a credit. If you do try hosting zoom DO NOT pay for more than one month or you will lose your money if your not happy. They do NOT refund for unused hosting beyond the 30 day grantee.
Customer service? they just have no idea compared to other providers like Hostgator, Micfo, or EUKhost where even if you get problems they do help fix and advise. Zoomhosting have much to learn.
Was i happy at reseller zoom (hostingzoom) yes i was. Am i now after two years? NO i am not and my advise to anyone looking for a hosting provider is look elsewhere.
I would say check out the client forum where i have never seen so many angry clients, but the forum is only viewable by clients. You have to part with money before you get to see you shouldn't have.
I truly hope my review will help others avoid the problems and loss of business I've suffered. I now have a wonderful host and look forward to growing my business back up to where it was before i put my faith in reseller zoom.
