I'd been browsing the market for a hosting provider, and for reviews of such providers. Reviews proved to be minimal and/or inconclusive, so I had a look at the rates and the offerings.

At first, I thought 'this has to be a scam'. HostDone's rates are incomparable with other providers'. What they offer in their basic Windows hosting setup, significantly exceeds what others provide with their top of the line schemes, and these schemes come with top of the line prices.

So I decided to have a go anyway; if it proved to be a scam (this was simply to good to be true), I'd have a word with Visa and the Fbi :)

Within an hour after ordering, my site was up and running. HostDone is one of the few providers (perhaps there are more, if you're willing to lay out your entire salary for their services) that offers the latest Asp.net with Windows hosting.

They throw in a lot of goodies too (mail, to name but one), and the space and volume that are included in the package are close to infinite. An additional subdomain (for testing, development) just costs you a one-off setup fee of $1.50. I won't copy their price list here, it's just an example.

So far, I haven't needed their tech support or customer service, so can't comment on those.

I still can't help wondering occasionally when this whole thing will blow up, but that's just my nature :) I recommend HostDone to anybody who needs a hosting service - this is beyond excellent!
