first 2 weeks they offered sorta nice bandwidth, 60kb/sec..then the troubles began with a saturday crach..since then bandwidth was below 5kb/sec...SQL database corrupted twice, they deleted links to download-files, site was not accassible 3times in 2weeks..
i guess im stuck with them, because they dont refund :( they promise you that! but i heard from other people already, you never get your money back...damn, what a mistake!
oh yeah, you order 1year, but then they call you, they tell you alot in confusing sentences, and in the end you have only 1option:next month pay 4times as much, or stuck with them for 2years.

Mike: Once the account is resumed then the mail should come back in

Mike: Usually when a mail server is unavailable, or in this case your account was suspended, it rejects the message silently so that the other mail servers try again later

my complain to Gisol:
I have purchased a 'pro' windows server plan yesterday (My web site developer said they don't make Linux websites) so I paid $119.40 for the NEW
plan and was waiting for sales person to call and confirm my order.(new account ID khush1)
Guess what the person who called me was VERY rude as if they don't care for customers or business. He said his name was 'Adam's ID 15832
what he said is since I have paid for 1 year $119.40 the plan is NOT guaranteed same price he said " plan price will change next month or
midnight and will go to 24.99 EVEN if I have paid upfront for a year I will have to pay more next month onwards!!! Unless I take bi-annual plan!
He said "We don't need problem customers like you" GO and find another hosting provider!!!! (About 3 to 4 times)
Is that normal behavior with Gisol customers? Is it because GISOL has very many customers and they don't care?
I have been a loyal customers for so many years and all I wanted was to change my OS from Linux to windows and I was doing as I was told to 'open
new account under windows' then get the refund and my files transferred to windows server..
+AFTER I sent this email Adam called me again saying he can get me the yearly plan with the given rate BUT i CANNOT use any of my old domains under
the New account any more! I disagreed and the conversation ended.
++Adam called me once again this time saying he can get me the website rates and give me the yearly account but I have to start with 'NO domains' and
later add the existing ones' I was happy that at least I can get my domain names under the new windows account. BUT then he said I can only have FIVE
domains as my Linux account had 5 domain limit. I disagreed and so he said I will have to wait till monday.
The PRO plan on the web I paid for (id khush1) said "Unlimited domains" and my Linux account (id khush2) when I called salesperson 'Elvis' has unlimited domains capacity too!
+++Today a coworker of Adam named Brian called me ID 22283 and he insisted on all that Adam had mentioned is true even after I explained the whole story.
I asked him to look at my current plan (ID khush2) and after a long pause told me "my current plan allows 15 GB of data and ONLY 10 domain names and after
10 each extra domain costs extra.
He went on the same track as Adam insisting (forcing me) to get the TWO YEAR plan and than have NO restrictions.
It seems people at GISOL force customers to BUY the HIGHEST plan or face consequences of gettting over charged (not what the web site displays) or
stand a chance of account closure! I was at his mercy and don't want my account closed so I surrendered and accepted HIS terms to pay for 2 years :(
(I insisted with Adam first day to give me his manager's or his supervisor's name BUT he said "I am the supervisor and i dont have manager)
Now after i filed this complaint with Gisol Brian called me and said he has closed my current paid account and I was denied all access because I was 'abusive' ?
I told the truth these two people cheat and lied to me and now they call me 'abusive' and cancel my existing paid account?

one advise don't use GISOL, bad uptime and not so good customer experience. Oh yes another think, they don't refund, there is no money back guarantee... its all lies.

I canceled my service with GISOL 7 days after signing up for the 'buy a year, get 3 months free and a free domain registration' plan for $180. Well within their current 30-day money back guarantee.
Well, I followed the procedures, cancelled via the cancel site page, no refund. Called more than 8 times - left name and number, no return call. Filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau (which I should have checked before signing - they rate a 'F' and have 'NO resolved complaints') - BBB closed my compliant as 'unable to contact GISOL - no response'. Complained to the CA Attorney Generals office - their reply 'Sorry, due to the number of complaints this office recieves... we cannot help'.
Took 1 year 1 month for GISOL to give me access to the Domain I purchased, I still have not been given ownership of it yet (they can still login to it) - I will not use it until I own it and are listed on the Domain.
BEWARE OF GISOL - THEY DO NOT HONOR THEIR 'MONEY BACK GUARANTEE'.

Gisol's performance has simply been terrible (!!!!).
For one and a half month my websites have hardly been accessible or not at all accessible. Emails bounce every second day. Repeated complaints have resulted in no improvement whatsoever.
I have no problem accessing other sites in california like www.matsen.com (which does NOT belong to me but is situated on another non-Gisol server)
The last reports I got were these:

"To prevent from accomplishing a purpose..." is how it is with GISOL, and I believe GLOBAT is the same company because of advertising practices. On customer service/support, using a scale of 1-10, I give GISOL a -2 (negative two). I have been with them since 12/03 and now finally leaving once my contract expires a few months from now. It's like an abusive relationship. I have lost data and money. The servers are slow and constantly offline. and ofcourse, I can't tolerate rudeness.

I was with them for over a year because at the time they were the only ones offering over 200 GB of data transfer for under $30. My site kept growing and kept hogging up server resources and going over bandwidth (of which I paid) and then one day my data was GONE. They said it was a virus attack and the restore was corrupt.
