gisol called us about our domain name being placed under redemption-they had been emailing an invalid email address and must not care if they get a failure to deliver notice. the sales person spewed out some plan option and prices and we agreed to one costing approximately $300.00. the next day i received a call from our credit card company regarding an amount of $718.20! we tried to contact them by phone, but they only communicate via email. basically,we were told that the transcripts show us agreeing to the price and we had to pay it even though we emailed them to cancel the service less than 12 hours since the phone call. the credit card company cannot help because it was all verbal communication. the charge is now back on our credit card even though we are not using GISOL. i went to their site and if you click for a live chat you get some b.s. that if you are waiting for a refund you can't talk to anyone. gee, what a surprise. i emailed them to send me their cancellation policy-i wonder how long it will take to get a response. GISOL IS A DISHONEST COMPANY! DO NOT USE GISOL! you have been warned...

This company needs legal action taken against it. If you have had bad dealings with GISOL please report it to the LA better Business Bereau, the LA District Attorney's office, the FBI's IC3 internet crimes unit and whomever else will take a complaint against these thieves.
This company thrives on unethical and fraudulent actions. They charge your card with out warning, bait and switch plans. Hijack domain names and avoid all calls like the plaque.
I have had two accounts suspended without warning for so called AUP violations. Hosting multiple apparently are a no-no even though the plans i have state unlimited domains.
BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE Class Action Against GISOL.com

*****STAY AWAY FROM GISOL AT ALL COSTS*****
I have had pretty much every single problem reported by all other users.
I have been threatened with debt collectors for a fee I paid twice!
All emails to admin and sales @ gisol are ignored.
Their unlimited plan is actually not unlimited.
The counting down clock actually counts down to when the clock will reset back to 24 hours to go, and not when the "offer" ends.
All their points of contact (including Tech support) are outsourced to India.
They actively screen calls and dont talk to people who will complain, want refunds or want to change hosts.

They are holding my domain name hostage. Their knowledge base says I can get whois info changed by filling out a trouble ticket. Doing do results in a response with instructions to email sales@gisol.com. There is no response from said email address. My first email was sent 41 days ago. I have sent several more since then - no response.
There are posts and dedicated sites all over the Net testifying to how awful this company is.
Do yourself a favor and do not do business with Global Internet Solutions - GISOL.

Out of the blue with no warning they supposedly let my domain name lapse. I have the email they originally sent that says that I paid up front $238.80 that cover setup and domain registration fees, and my first 30 months of service. It is dated 17May2006. This is 30Jun2006 and as of yesterday my domain name is no longer valid so I have no email capability for either myself or my wife and our web site is no longer available for anyone.
There is a place on their site for domain name renewal. That site shows that my domain name was tagged "Do not renew ($0.00)".
I have tried talking by phone and chat line to customer service, tech support, or anyone else I could get ahold of. They all tell me to email sales@gisol.com. I tell all of them to think how silly that request is since they have shut down my ability to use email. How am I supposed to accomplish the feat since they took that privilige from me? I have called sales and they have told me to do the same thing. I have been told to fill out a trouble ticket which I have and have amended. I have asked for the status on that trouble ticket and I am told that it takes a senior tech to respond and they are not senior techs. They gave me a phone number for the senior techs but of course the number just rings and rings until finally there is a message that says that number is not available.
From reading other postings it appears that they want me to go somewhere else so they can have my space to sell to someone else and they will keep my money for the months that are not going to be used.
I got screwed and did not see it coming.
I did not get an email or a phone call saying there was a problem with my domain name. They said they always send a message and that it probably was in the spam folder. Through their site I can still get to the email spam folder and verified there were no messages from GISOL. None in the normal mail folders either. They just shut me down for no reason and without warning.
We got took by this guy but what can I do?

My company was hosted by GISOL. I did not select the firm, it was selected by the person who designed my website, based primarily on their low-cost services. I knew nothing about them. I had an account with GISOL by which my credit card would be billed annually.
This year, one week before my account was due to renew, I was called by someone at GISOL, who said GISOL had been trying to reach both me and my designer by email (I later determined this was untrue). The person said GISOL was moving to new servers in 24 hours, and that this would require me to upgrade to a new hosting package. He said if I didn’t do this, I would lose the website in 24 hours. I was suspicious, but he provided proof that he was from GISOL, and I assumed I was dealing with a reputable company. Under this compulsion, I reluctantly agreed to the upgrade--$466.20 for a 3-year package.
However, I grew uneasy as I saw reports by other customers posted on the Web. Other customers reported receiving the same threat on other dates—and how many times could GISOL be “moving to new servers”? And upon visiting GISOL’s website, I discovered they were still promoting much cheaper packages (i.e., my expensive upgrade was apparently not necessary). Despite all this, I would have been willing to let it slide. However, they then billed my credit card for the OLD, defunct hosting package. I sent them emails protesting this. After getting a runaround from GISOL (no replies and unsigned evasive replies), I had my credit card company revoke the charge. However, as soon as the credit card company removed the charge, GISOL suspended my company’s website. I emailed GISOL about it, but of course received no reply. In the meantime, I presume the suspension of my website gives GISOL more space on its servers for new customers. Anyone detect a strategy here?
To make this story short, GISOL took $466.20 from me, for which I am receiving no service whatsoever.
I am following the lead of other GISOL customers, and have reported them to IC3, the FBI’s Internet Crime Complaint Center, and I encourage others to do the same if GISOL has cheated you. While a class action lawsuit is a great idea, I believe it may be wisest to let law enforcement officials deal with this first. If the government establishes and proves a criminal case, perhaps a civil lawsuit will be easier to pursue.

I have had a few unresolved technical issues with them, but my last straw was with their billing. My credit card on file was past expiration when the renewal came up for one of my domains. They sent me a cryptic email saying that "ACCOUNT_NAME" was overdue. I sent emails asking which account it was. By the time they answered my emails they had already sent the bill to collections. Really really pissed me off.

company failed to provide the promised service
failed to respond to the specific complaint allegations
The company advertises its services for a low monthly fee with the representation that the offer expires within hours based on a count-down time clock displayed on their website. I believe that this company’s advertising is misleading.
This company is not a member of the Better Business Bureau. This fact does not disparage the company in any way.
Early cancellation of services contracts without notification or authorization by paying customers trying to force upgrades of services that coast more than what the user wonted.
I am asking what can be done and is ite possible that a case can be created to recover moneys back to consumers that bought into this scam.
