This company's uptime record is poor, and their support is almost non-existant.
My site often goes down for a week or more at a time.
Right now, my incoming mail server is not accepting e-mails. This situation has persisted for almost 2 weeks already and I cannot reach anyone there to talk to them about it.
Their phone number is in Central America (an international call from the U.S.) and rarely does anyone answer the phone, but an answering machine answers so I get charged for the call anyway.
DO NOT USE THIS HOSTING SERVICE! IT STINKS!!!

My first domain was registered with freehostingweb.net (which became aaa-webhost.net a few years back).
The service was consistent. It was difficult to get a reply from the tech support (I found that often the problem was actually fixed, they just never dropped me an email telling me so).
The service suffered from semi-annual crashes that would take the website offline for a few days, and would often take all my data with it.
Up until this most recent crash (Jan 2006) I had found their reliability (in so far as uptime) had been increasing. This crash however has been intolerable, with the main aaa-webhost.net site inaccessible for over a week (only now is a placeholder page available, offering two email addresses).
I have now left aaa-webhost.net. The ups and downs, hiccups and malfunctions were irritating, but infrequent. I am now prepared to pay for better service.
In the end, you truly do get what you pay for.

I've used this service for 4 years and have had pretty good luck. It has gone down twice for a few days but always come back. Currently my service is down and I can not contact the host at all. May be time to switch.

three years great service, the first year had some problems, but the last 2 have been great. very little downtime (5 days in 2 years = less than 1%). All my emails answered promptly and with great service.

They are the worst hosts anyone can ever have. After taking you payments yo are on your own.they do not reply emails and support links on the site are dead links. My time with them was a nightmare as the site was always down and they could not be reached. my site was once down for 4 weeks and i sent over 50 emails with no replies. When i tried to leave ,they wouldnt release my domain name. I had to do this through www.dotregister.com who they are ressellers for. Anyone hosting with them who has encountered such problems should complain to www.dotregister.com andit will be sorted out in a few days as was done in my case. They helped me transfer my domain ,all i paid was $15 for renewal with dotregister.

I had my domain registered before transferring it to these guys. Sometime after my site was up and running, I discovered that my site was now registered to "Donald Beavers". My many emails asking why my domain was changed, give it back, etc went unanswered. When I gave up w/ their crappy service and downtimes, and wanted to change hosts, I couldn't transfer my domain. I could only renew it by renewing it through aaa-webhost.net (no thankyou!) So, www.purplegiraffe.net now belongs to some selfish domain reseller who beat me to it after it went back on the market a month after expiring. STAY AWAY from these guys.

I really like this web hosting company. I have been with others (Ipowerweb) that charge a lot more for the same thing.I like saving money. This is a good bargin.I like all the features in the control panel especially the statistics part. I mean I can see how many people have come to my site. You get a lot for the buck here I will tell you. I have found my Hosting Company. Thank you aaa-webhost.net
