I've had the same reseller package with these guys since almost the beginning of their company. Everything worked fine until I actually tried to *use* it. When it was just a few domains that I owned and used for my own purposes, it was fine.
As soon as I actually wanted to resell hosting packages to clients, things got ugly. I could work around most issues myself, with a little bit of a headache, but when you need things to just "work" so that the phone isn't constantly ringing off the hook, you're going to run into trouble.
Ehostpros is actually reselling dedicated servers from theplanet.com so the actual support they can give you is very limited. If there is an actual issue, they will always have to turn around and resubmit your ticket to theplanet.com's support team, as they seem to be the only ones who can do anything about it.
The server load averages are just plain unacceptable. If there is a surge in traffic from any of the hundreds (or thousands, depending on your server) domains being hosted on the server, the load average jumps to over 4.00 and then requests start to be dropped by the mail server, web server, and database server.
The mail server is pretty much pointless. Because the server is managed by theplanet.com, the resell to ehostpros, ehostpros resells to you, and you resell to your client, any violations of the AUP take so long to discover and correct, that pretty much all of the ehostpros servers are on spammer blacklists.
I had a client that outgrew the shared server, and needed to move to their own dedicated server. Ehostpros actually does everything in their power to prevent you from being able to move even a single domain away from their service. Even if I were to get the dedicated server from them, they would be unable to make the switch without several days of downtime.
After having switched almost all of my business to a new host, I've finally learned what constitutes "good hosting" They are helpful, responsive, and actually have root access to their own servers, so that they can diagnose and repair any issues. The first couple weeks were so quiet, I kept paging myself just to make sure the pager was working.

Buyer beware!!! This company's biggest liability is its technical support - or lack thereof. When I submitted support tickets in English, I would receive obvious "canned" replies that were written so poorly that they were difficult to read. Sentence structure was as if translated to English from another language. If I resubmitted the question, I'd receive the same message again. There was no telephone support available when I hosted there in 2005. I canceled my account mid year and took the loss, just to be rid of them. Other than that, their Control Panel was easy to use; up time seemed adequate.

I'll break my review down into the GOOD, the BAD, and the CONCLUSION.
*************
THE GOOD
-> Their plans are CHEAP and you get a lot. For example, right now the starter plan is about $35/yr, and you get 5 gigs of space. Plans renew at the same price, so you can "lock in" a good price and keep it forever.
-> You get lots of bells and whistles. Their plans are generous. For example, with my plan I get unlimited subdomains, unlimited email addresses, unlimited mail forwards, etc. You get cpanel and stuff like that for managing your site.
-> Their support is actually pretty good. They have an online chat system, and thought it's not always staffed, you can often talk with a real person in real-time when you have a problem. They also have a good system for submitting problem tickets, and I find they respond quickly.
-> Their billing system is also fairly nice, and you can pay with PayPal.

THE BAD
-> In my experience, there's a lot of down time with eHostPros. They seem to reboot their servers a lot. On any given day, it's not unusual to discover that I cannot receive email, or that users can't get to my website. The downtime usually does not last for very long, so the problem is more the FREQUENCY of downtime rather than the duration.
-> While the customer service is prompt, it cannot be called friendly. The staff tend to be terse, and they resort to the "deny problem exists" and "blame the customer first" methods of dealing with complaints. They simply refuse to admit that they're ever wrong, and that's frustrating.
-> There are occasional problems that go beyond the annoying downtime. They move websites between servers for maintenance reasons, and this can create issues. Once I discovered that all my email forwards were erased. Another time I setup Drupal (a php content management system) on one of my subdomains, and the entire thing was deleted without warning or explanation.

CONCLUSION
If eHostPros could improve their reliability and make their customer service more friendly, then they could be amazing.
As it stands, I'd say they're still quite good, but they are probably not the best webhost for mission critical applications.

YOU CAN HOST WITH THESE GUYS. They are the BEST. I was very much satisfied with their Hosting Services. I never faced any issue with their service since i hosted with them. They always helped me a lot in resolving the issue's. Recently when i got an issue and not able to get the site, than they shifted me to the recently upgraded server and helped me a lot. When i faced the cpanel issue, it was also solved within 10-20 minutes. They are ROCKING !!!!!!!

It is one of the best webhosting companies i seen. They were just superb in their customer support. I never change this company, rather i will recommend it to my friends. Technically they were good and solving all my queries in time and they are the one who responds promptly for my queries. The new hosting packages are very attractive and worth going for them. Their technical and billing services are really incompetent. You'll have tons of problem, especially with the domain renewal which will never been done "on time" so you'll loose about 2 to 4 days of emails/website working and they are always "sorry for that"...
If you want a professional webhoster, don't choose them !!

It is the worst! They moved my web site with out notifying me. Then they forgot to put my static IP Address I pay them for on the new server. After I notified them of the mistake, they took a week to put one on the Support people stated they had to order one. I already had an IP address what happened to that one??? I work for a major ISP, I know how IP addresses work they did not have to order one. So they lied all they had to do was to put a secondary IP address on that server and have apache point it to the domain. But if you want anything but the standard package this company is not for you.

I have used this web hosting company for at least the last 3 years. My initial experience was good... fast setup, everything worked as it should. But during the last year, the last few months in particular, I have not been able to FTP at times, the site has been completely inaccessible on the web, and e-mail performance is sluggish when it works at all. I have now been told of customers getting "bounce" messages when trying to send e-mail to my domain. I suppose they fixed it, because when I tried to e-mail myself, it didn't bounce... I just never received it at all.
My website isn't baby pictures or fried chicken recipes... it's my livelihood. It's how I eat. And with ehostpros.com I have to constantly be wondering if I'm still in business that day or that week. How much money did I lose because customers couldn't get e-mails to me? I don't even want to think about it.
Plus I'm paying competitive prices for a "drop in the bucket" 50 megs of webspace, and I get a "warning" e-mail whenever I use 48 megs of it. Needless to say, I won't be using this company much longer. If you're looking at this web hosting company, consider what you use it for. If you want to put up a website just to say you have one, fine, but if you plan on making your living with it, look elsewhere for a host.

i had ehostpros and i had no problems with them until i added an ecommerce domain earlier this year. i changed my mind 2 weeks later and canceled. it took them weeks to cancel my account. i still have no refund and now i post to the forums for billing support and they delete my posts. i cancelled all my domains with them and i am so sorry i ever did business with them. i realized i am probably out the sixty something dollars that they charged me but i am gonna play their little post deletion game everyday until i get tired of it. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS

EhostPros (www.ehostpros.com) is one of the worst hosting companies I have ever come across. Their lack of support, ability to configure their servers, and the fact I cancelled my account two months ago and have not received a refund, has led me to this conclusion.
I hadn’t purchased a hosting account since 1999, and due to the new technologies that have emerged I was a bit clueless on what hosting company and services I should seek. I found EhostPros using a search engine, and the page seemed great for someone who was in my position. I ordered an account and it was setup in around 48 hours and went from there.
At first I was tweaking my coding skills and didn’t use any advanced functions like mySQL, PHP or CGI, but when it came time to implement such features and use them, I was at a loss due to restrictions placed on the accounts. I soon found out that most of the configuration settings, except a few you can use via the CPANEL must be set by a service professional. So I contacted them using their online chat service to request the features be implemented.
The person who answered the chat referred me to their support@ehostpros.com email address. I received an automatic response and then had to wait a few days for them to respond, telling me they need to contact their administrator to setup such things. I waited and they were eventually setup.
When these features were setup they used really old versions of the programs so my newer scripts wouldn’t work. I had purchased vbulletin and then contacted them using the online support. Again I was referred to the email address, and then again told that I had to wait for the administrator to fix the problems.
Once I had vbulletin up and running I would experience server side problems almost twice a month, resulting in down time due to someone on their side messing up the configuration. During this time I never received a solution using their online chat, was always forwarded to the email account, and half of the time had to wait days for their administrator to fix these issues.
During the entire duration of my web page being online they had to reset the entire account four times, and each time leaving me to reset file permissions, and reconfigure a countless number of other configuration settings that were wiped out. This only added to the downtime of my network of web pages.
Needless to say I got tired of the lack of professional support and sought out another host. When I found one, I cancelled my account with Ehostpros and was told I would receive a refund for my unused months within 24-48 hours. After this time passed I questioned them about it and was told that their page stated it would take up to a maximum of 14 days.
After 14 days passed I asked where my payment was and they said it takes 14 business days. This is not what their refund page said, but to my surprise a few hours later it was changed. At this point in time I found this a bit odd, but decided to wait the four more days for the refund.
Once this time frame had passed I asked again where my money was. I was given the run around and have been getting the same old excuses for over two months now. It is now nearing Christmas time, and due to my disability status I cannot work and was planning to use the refunded money to buy what little I could for my family.
I have now sought out the help of free legal counsel, and I am hoping the bank’s who's debit card I used can get the money back for me sometime before Christmas.
If you’re shopping around for a hosting company I would stay away from Ehostpros, as unlike their name they are one of the most unprofessional companies I have ever dealt with, and their lack of refunding my account clearly shows they do not give a damn.
