I'm trying to get my money back,I cancel my service with them more than a year and they charge my Visa with another year of service and dont return my emails or phone calls. PLEASE DONT USE THIS COMPANY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE AND NO SUPPORT

I had three accounts with DRW. They were all canceled when I closed my business several years ago. I still have all the paperwork and emails from when I canceled. They sent me to collections for all the accounts, saying that I never canceled. DRW has refused to discuss the matter. They were reported to the better business bureau - but even the better business bureau could get a hold of a live person. They are now under investigation my the Ontario Ministry of Consumer and Government Services. I have contacted a lawyer and will be dealing with them that way. TRY CALLING THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE NUMBER - I guarantee you won't get a hold of anyone. WORST COMPANY EVER!!!!

There is no truth to this claim at all.
If this client had actually closed their account using our online account cancellation form we would have closed their account, and never sent them to collections.
Further to this, there is always support staff available by phone 24 hours a day 365 days a year by english speaking tech support staff located in Canada and the USA.
Our billing department is open from 9:30am to 5:30pm via phone monday to friday and via e-mail 24 x 7 and 99% of billing issues are resolved within 24 hours.
We have an ongoin relationship with the better business bureau and we have no complaints from the ministry of consumer or government services.
Go ahead, try calling our toll free number... 1-866-230-5329 (it works in Canada and the USA) we want our customers to contact us. :-) |

I've been with drw.net for almost 4 years... and I have to say, there is "some" truth to the posts here... Drw.net went through a really bad time last year, from the summer to this spring, things were difficult, response times were longer than any of us would have liked.
BUT, in there defence, I have choosen to renew my account for another year.
DRW was always honest about the problems, they had staffing issues and growing pains... But they have moved past them now.
Phone support is available 24 x 7 x 365 and is always answered promptly by an english speaking person... which is a nice plus.... and usualy under 2 or 3 minutes. I think the longest I have waited on hold was 6 minutes in the last 2 or 3 monhts.
And.. the servers and service has been wonderful, always up, and any issues I have had have been addressesed.
Lets be realistic, no host is ever going to be 1000% perfect, and at least DRW.Net treated us with respect and told us the truth about the problems.
Call them, they always answer the phone now!

When I first started with DRW, they were great. The price was good, the service never went down, they responded to web/email tickets and phone tech support. In the past year or so, they have been snowballing downhill ... It was increasingly hard to reach them by phone (the number was changed and they never notified, and left a voice service telling me to keep waiting -- it was long distance too...), email and web tickets were completely ignored, and the service started cutting out for DAYS at a time. I understand the occasional hour of downtime or attack, but this was rediculous. When I finally reached someone, a minor apology for the downtime and denial for everything else was the only response.
I feel bad for the company -- they had some great service and I was recommending them to my clients and associates. I was a bit sorry to move on, but had to -- I couldn't stay there and watch my clients and business leave.

In the beginning, this was a good host. Prompt replies to support tickets and issues corrected with a minimum of fuss.
In the last year, however, this host has gone downhill fast. Numerous outages with no explanation or warning (who works on DNS servers without letting customers know they may experience some downtime?) and customer service that is virtually non-existent (disconnected phone numbers, voice mail that is never replied to, support tickets that are improperly handled if they're handled at all).
I run two sites from this host and they are both being pulled as of today.
If you're looking for a decent host, stay FAR away from DRW Networks.

Some of the worst service I've ever seen, my site was always down, support is really bad. I would not recommend this company to anyone. After more than 3yrs with this company I'm not glad that my website is being hosted by another company.

DO NOT USE THEM. I have been trying to cancel my accounts with them for 3 years - they continue to bill me and refuse to cancel. It sucks to have to resort to litigation to get a company to cancel accounts.
