Bizland and why I am building a new site elseware

The issues I have had are constant problems with sitedelux which is the editor provided. I have also had to reset my account password about 3 times per week because of a problem with the log in system.
My site is constantly going down and when you complain the just keep repeating a scripted responce. And while tech support responds quickly when they fix one problem it normaly causes many more. I am currently building another site and strongly recomend you skip bizland....

Bizland has taken my Domain Name

Until this recent problem I have always found Bizland offered good services and a quick response to any problems.
However, I have now been unfortunate enough to encounter a very sinister side of Bizland.
My emails stopped functioning on the 28th September. On checking my Bizland account, I found that my Domain name (originally supplied through Bizland) should have been renewed on the 27th September, but Bizland had failed to remind me. I immediately renewed it and Bizland sent me a confirmation email that it was now paid up until 27 September 2012. However, this was sent on my other Domain/email account as of course my account as mentioned had ceased working.
I waited 24 hours - and still no email access. I then checked my website and was amazed to find a strange web page sponsored by Sedo Parking - offering my Domain name for sale! I then checked my website files on my Bizland account and every file had been changed to reflect Sedo! This was obviously done with the connivance of Bizland.
6 + emails to Bizland Support later and it has not been resolved. WHOIS still reports e as the owner of the site and even the Domain name renewal has been updated to 2012.
In the meantime, I can send emails, but do not get any incoming emails - they are all bounced as 'undeliverable'.
I am trying every contact I can find to try to sort this problem. I understand that once a site is put on Sedo Parking a fee is paid by them for every 'click' on their sponsored companies. Is this an extra way for Bizland to make money if they are claiming to own the site?

Bizland Support Poor - Unexplained Errors

My company has been hosting with Bizland for years but am now moving several hundred domains off their servers due to excessive HTTP 500 errors. Support has been useless in resolving this.
Over the course of two weeks they were unable to resolve the issue, which was intermittent 500 errors occurring on all sites. They were unable to provide any additional system logs to diagnose the problem. They blamed the issue on our PHP scripts, on pages that were unrelated, and then created separate pages and tried to use those as proof that the problem didn't exist.
English is apparently their second language as basic requests go ignored and they do not comprehend basic descriptions of the issues.
With each new ticket response, they attempted to close the ticket as resolved after testing the page once or twice. Testing on our end by reloading the page a few times showed the problem still existed and nothing had been resolved.
The error was occurring on multiple sites running completely unrelated code.
We took the same code to another provider and it runs without issue. I've migrated 90% of our domains to the new ISP. I then rechecked to see if this was a load issue, but the error continued to occur at Bizland with only a few of our domains still operating there. The error has not occurrd even once at the new ISP.

Bizland just disabled my message board without telling me. I have been with this company since net1, and this is the last straw... they have cut and throttled service when I was having a live coast to coast radio show that cost me thousands of hits. They have not credited me with websites that I have signed up requiring me to “remind them”. And tech support, what a joke it has become… see ya bizland and your BAD service… I am taking all the sites I manage and finding a new sandbox to play in.

Long slide downhill

I have been with this company for a long long time, I have also recommended them to friends and in online forums. Well that time is over, and I now say avoid Bizland. In the last year they must have outsourced or cut service, I used to get my calls taken within a minute or two. Now waits are just terrible, there are frequent outages, and times when I cannot access via FTP for no reason.
They apparently have also had some sort of major security problem, everyone is having to change passwords and access.
This used to be a solid company with great customer support, somehow that went out the window and they really don't give a hoot at all any more.
Avoid, I will switch hosting as soon as my paid account comes due.

My website was Redirected to sedo parking page during an outage

During a recent outage (they seem to occur at Bizland every now and again ) I found that my domain was being redirected to a spammy looking sedo parking page with sponsered ads on it. The most disturbing aspect about all of this is that an unsuspecting user landing on this page would automatically assume that my site did not exist any longer, as my domain name was visible in the browser address bar.
I mangaged to contact Support using their livechat asking them why this was occuring and was given a series of canned responses in an attempt by them to skirt around the issue. Finally they told me that they couldn't change the redirect and brushed me off.

I am so glad I found your site! Someone wrote that Bizland only makes changes in the wee hours of the morning. Well, that's not true anymore. They were going to do an "upgrade" to SiteDeluxe Monday morning and it's now Tuesday night and I still can't access SiteDelux. Someone else wrote "they lie." They sure do! I have one website hosted by them that was written in Dreamweaver and uses MySQL and php. Those functions weren't working and Bizland techs (several!) told me the problem was with my program. Finally talked to a tech who said that for the past 2 weeks had been upgrading their hardware. He said the problem was with Bizland, not my program. It irks me to no end when you contact them via Live Chat, you write your whole question/problem down and they take one word out of it and give you the answer for that, even though it has NOTHING to do with the problem. Oh, I could go on and on, but why bother? I have wasted enough time with Bizland. I am going to switch to a different host once I decide on one. Thanks again for having this site. I was really at a loss where to start to find a new host.

This host lies all the time. I dont get any traffic.My Ip is not working 99% time. I have had enough. Been a member for 8 years. Wow. Dont do it.

I don't say this lightly. I say it after using them for many years, having a reseller account with them, having tried their support at different times on different days, having spoken with several first level technical support staff, several "manager", "customer services managers" and people seemingly in authority.
First, the good bits: their phone lines do work and you can get through fairly quickly. And, well.... that's about it!
First line staff are completely useless. One instance: I bought a site and wanted them to apply to the registrar for the transfer. Typically, they'd contact the registrar who'd contact the admin contact they have on record for the site, and when the admin contact/owner approves the transfer the site is "handed over". Bizland's first line staff refused to accept this and have their own weird interpretation of how it worked. So, I spoke to another one, and another one. And to a supervisor. And to a manager who finally recognised that not one of the staff knew how it actually worked!
And they lie. Not just first line staff, but superivors as well. A particular "Troy", "Darrell" and "Patricia" are names you want to watch out for. They say that they record calls but they won't play them back to you. So they can give you any old rubbish over the phone and say, "But you are the one who asked for that!".
AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS

Terrible support the worst ever~!!!! I have never in seven years. As long as you do not have to have service ,make changes, or need help it is okay other than that save yourself some trouble and look at cnets host guide first!
