We used this host for about 18 months and couldn't take it anymore. Over that period on over 10 occasions, their FTP service failed for the day, and I would have to notify them and wait for hours until they would fix it (NOTE-they ONLY have email tech support, which had about a 2-5 hour turnaround-a long time when your site is down). Like wise they never monitored their SQL server service and they had such low thresholds for the log files that the service would just stop and would take hours for them to fix it, and they continually kept trying to upsell me to more hosting space for my little thousand record db with moderately low usage. The control panel was so buggy that I couldn't manage backups or truncate the log files among other important maintenance items. It got so bad that I had to move to a new host mid year on the contract. When I asked them for a refund because their service was so poor, they said you only have 30 days into the contract to get your money back, tough luck. I questioned them on their "Uptime Guarantee" and this is the response I got...
"Thank you for your inquiry. Please be advised that we ensure 99.9% server uptime guarantee and 99.9% network uptime guarantee.
You did have problem with the FTPs several times and it does not and never ever mean that the entire server is down. FTP is just one small part of the servers that can fail sometimes (since this is a shared server). However, other server services such as the IIS server, database, dns, email, control panel, user management etc etc remained up and working.
If you have a problem with a tyre, you cannot simply blame the whole car, can you?
The network uptime guarantee is pertaining the accessibility of the server through the public network. If you can ping the server, it means it is accessible. I can see that your server is always ping-able at all time. Please note that I am using the "server" word here, not the "site". We host many sites on this server and if one of the sites on this server is not ping-able, it again does not mean that the entire server is down.
We cannot meet our promise if:
- the entire server is down due to the hard drive failure, fire event, electricity problem, etc etc
- the entire network is down due to any unpredicted events.
Since the day 1 we started this server, we never ever experience major events as outlined above.
I do not mean to cause any inconvinience to you, but that is the explaination I can provide. Thank you.

So apparently as long as the server is pingable, that is satisfactory for them, even though the services on those servers may or may not be working, but who cares, its pingable!

" I am currently running a cooking/culinary school website and I want my site to be hosted with a professional host with good uptime rate and excellent server speed. Besides, as my site provides training to students, I require secure protocol so that students can safely access the courses, tranining sessions and any news pertaining to their training. As of this, I require my host to be able to provide me support for Ssl. One of my friends had recommended AspHostCentral.com and he informed me that their service is one of the best in its class with courteous customer service. I then decided to join them about a year ago. This is the summary of the service that I can share with you guys:
- Uptime rate: I strongly agreed with my friends. They do have a very good uptime rate. My site has been up and running smoothly and I have not had a single downtime in the past few months. They did a server maintainance about 6-7 months ago, but they did send a notice to me 3 weeks before the scheduled date. I certainly had a chance to inform my students about the downtime and I certainly knows what to expect. This is very, very porfessional!
- Customer Service: Well, what can I say: One of the best in its industry. Response is quick, staff is knowledgeable, courteous and friendly staffs, etc. Most of my inquiries were responded within few minutes and in case they need an investigation to my question, they always inform me about the possible wait-time. I certainly have something to expect for and I am very, very happy with their assistance.
- Server/Network: I am running my site from Australia and all my students accesses the site from Australia too. Server speed, so far, is excellent. My site's loading time is fast and outstanding. I have nothing to complain here.
- Ability to meet my requirements: As noted above, I need my site to run under secure protocol (HTTPS) + I need an access to Asp.Net 4.0 and Asp.Net Mvc 2. They can provide these services and my site can be up and running within minutes. Wow, wow, wow! I never ever encounter such a good service with my previous host
- Hosting price and features: Well, with all the excellent services I received, I believe I am paying for something that is truly worth it. I believe that their hosting price is reasonable with good amount of features. I hate to look for a host that offers so-called unlimited stuffs as I had terrible experiences with them before. I was lured to a host that offers unlimited disk space and bandwidth before just to know that my site was down since the second week I had with them. With asphostcentral, even though they do not provide unlimited service, my site has a good uptime rate. Also, my site does not even require unlimited stuffs, so why bother?
- Control Panel: I believe that they are using one of the world-class control panel system. I can complete most of my things simply by logging into their Control Panel. There are lots of things that I can do directly via their control panel, in which some of the features are new (which I never ever heard before).
- Billing System: I am a bit surprised with some of the negative feedbacks written here. I never ever had any billing problems with them. All their charges are listed clearly on their site and I just have to pay whatever that is written there. Just before I registered with them, I have had a look at all its pricing structure and charges carefully and I also did read their terms and conditions properly. So far, I was only charge on things I should be charged, nothing more or nothing less. I guess that some customers are just lazy to read through all the details on a site and put on the big blame to the host. In Australia, we are educated to read through all the details, even reaching the smallest footnotes and thefore, I have no problem with them at all!
Conclusion: If you are truly looking for a host that provides excellent support in Asp.Net and Windows technology, asphostcentral.com is certainly one to be considered. With its affordable pricing structures, you can be certainly comfortable with the service you get. Prompt response, fast server, knowledgeable staffs are just few things to add and overall, you can be assured that you are paying something that is truly worth it! I certainly have no problem whatsoever in passing this good news to my friends and colleagues and I have no problem recommending their services to you all. I certainly look forward to bring more site to them in the next couple of months. Keep up the good work, asphostcentral! "

â" I had a very very bad experience with Asp host Central...didnt use my site much for a year and finally wanted to move to a different host as asphostcentral were too expensive for building a community site for an Ngo
Surprise suprise they asked me $15 to give me control over my own domain..they delayed responding to my tickets and this meant i could not transfer my domain to another registrar on time...
I checked their terms and saw that there was no fees mentioned for domain transfer...i protested and flatly refused to pay...To my utter surprise they went ahead modified their terms and conditions and added 15 dollar fees for domain transfer:O and asked me to look again.....
I finally told them that i had a copy of terms and you cannot change my terms without informing me ,it is Illegal,they relented and waived off my fees but since i was already late i had to pay them money for domain renewal which i didnt want to....
They think customer is stupid and ignorant and they can add what ever they want in terms and conditions...But not everyone is like that..

How can you miss one word in site upgrade?
For all AspHOSTCENTRAL cunstomers Do Not Pay any domain transfer to other hosts or registrar change fees..it was not there when you took the plan...these guys have added it now to extract money out of you and prevent you from leaving....when you shift to another host..you need not pay them anything.....
Do not give in to their threats..they tried to threaten me that if i am causing inconvenience to them they will let my domain expire.....
No apology no sorry...simple threat..even when they clearly knew they were wrong
they are the ones who are doing illegal stuff...Please Stay away..you may join today with low fees but when you leave god knows how many more fees they would have added....
I have never written a bad review for any one or any site...this is my first because the experience was horrible and downright cheap....i never imagined a company could actually behave in such childish manner to earn money...
They could have asked me 1500$ also,,..by simply adding it to their sites terms and conditions...Did i sign on blank piece of paper???

The company sells webhosting. I purchased a plan for a year and paid 59.85 USD for 12 months of service using PayPal as a payment method. The company has a 30 day money back guarantee. On the 31st day my account was suspended âbecause the payment was not receivedâ¦â In the email there was a link directing me to renew my account for another $59.85. I refused, sent proof of payment from PayPal but they still refused to reopen my account. After I opened a claim with PayPal, someone contacted me, saying there was a glitch and again refused to refund my money. After many messages back and forth, she offered to refund $59.85 minus 15% and I refused because I felt was unfair. I have never seen any money back; they finally closed my account, but never got any money back. I no longer need their services because I fear that if I have a live website, one day will be suspended again and I will be forced to pay more money.

I searched the USPS service for address lookup here http://zip4.usps.com/zip4/welcome.jsp and the result is a nondeliverable address, USPS will never be able to deliver mail at this address. I was just curious to see the address live online http://maps.google.com/help/maps/streetview, and it turns out to be an intersection in Houston TX.
I looked to see who registered the domain; it is a registrar in India, ICANN Registrar «Directi Internet Solutions Pvt. Ltd. d/b/a PublicDomainRegistry.com». I have contacted the registrar, never got a response. Their address is: http://www.publicdomainregistry.com.

The worst web hosting company I have ever had the misfortune to use! Periodically my site would go down for no reason. At one point, they moved servers without telling me, resulting in my site being down for days. Another time they switched nameservers on me and didn't let me know. There is no chat function on their site and no phone number, so email is the only way to reach them. Despite their website saying they are in Texas, they are in Australia. Because of this, if you need to contact them, it takes a minimum of 12 hours before any response. Do yourself a favor and STAY AWAY!

I sign up my account with them using paypal then have to chase them for 48 hours before my account can be activated. they claimed to have 24/7 supporT but my website down for 6 hours after mgirating to their website ridiculous, now the problem is starting after hosting with them for 2 days they start suspending my account asking me to upgrade to a bigger plan they seems to employ scared and Get more tactic marketing technique to get more money from their customer. tell me to send money to their australian account under the asphostcentral yulianto ? what kind of name is yulianto ?
