I have been hosting with ArisHost for over three years and had been relatively happy. A couple of months ago however, my website was hacked. I talked to someone else hosted by ArisHost and they had the same problem. I've also become very unhappy with the speed of my site. If I Publish my same WebSite over on Comcast, it is much faster. Now I'm just trying to get hold of them to get an authorization code so I can transfer my site to a better provider. No luck so far either via email or on phone.

It's been a frustrating few years with them. I finally dumped them, and am making the rounds of review sites to help warn off others. There is nothing good to say about this host.

Was a leader in cheap early on, but that's the only good thing. They've lost my website with no backups, they've screwed up every possible technical thing, they've been banned by anti-spam blacklists (and thus my website was banned), and don't get me started on billing.

Tech support, and even ability to contact firm, highly spotty and not necessarily in English. Worst Ever.

For the third year arishost.com reseller for opensrs.org charges me and does not renew my domain until I pay second time,
THIS IS THE SECOND YEAR YOU DO THIS TO ME AND CHARGE ME 60 DOLLAR FOR A DOMAIN NAME ONLY WORTH OF 10 DOLLARS, PLUS INTERNATIONAL PHONE CALLS WHERE NO ONE ANSWERRS ME

SO FOR GOD SAKE WHY YOU SUSPENDED MY DOMAIN FOR BILLING REASONS

Arishost is the WORST I have ever seen in terms of service. When I say the WORST, I mean think of the very worst that you can think of and then multiply your frustration and anger 100 fold. My email goes down all the time and they take 2 to 3 weeks to fix it and they never call you or let you know what is going on - even after they have promised to have it fixed. I can't even describe how bad their service is. I wish I had researched them before being sucked in by the $30 a year. If you are thinking about using them, PLEASE DO NOT. It will be a terrible mistake and the worst decision you have ever made concerning hosting. Arishost is the worst of the worst of the worst.

Also, too much downtime. In fact, as I write this, my site has been down for two days.

Unfortunately, changing hosts produces more downtime, but I have no choice.

Excellent package, but you get what you pay for. Arishost is a disorganized, sub-professional organization, with chaotic billing, broken systems, and spotty technical support.

I've hosted 3 websites here for over 4 years now, and had nearly a dozen problems over that span of time. The connections are always very slow. Airhost is suitable only for the least demanding applications (such as what I do -- hosting infrequently used websites of small citizen groups).

The support staff is helpful, but they are forced to reply on broken back-end systems, and not enough tools. Promised followup on issues never ever happens. And if you have a domain name problem -- watch out -- Arishost is not a "real" registrar, so they can't really solve the problem themselves.

Arishost hosts spammers, and thus is on blacklists (if I so much as mention an arishost domain the body of an email to Harvard Uiversity, the email gets rejected... that's how harsh these blacklists are... just talking about a website that happens to be on Arishost gets you blacklisted).

It's cheap, and you get what you pay for.

The email is well... Difficult at times but uptime is ok. A few outages as of late.

Arishost received my payment and cashed my check one month before website was due to expire. Rep called to verify where check should be applied to. Went to website and found site had been parked by another domain which arishost is a seller of sites. Contacted them and two weeks later and 16 calls later website is still not up and running. Each day I get a new person to talk to then when I tell them what site I am calling about they tell me that person is on leave. Promised to call me each day to give me status of problem and have yet to get a call from Arishost. Wished there was somewhere you could file a complaint other then on this site. They screwed up and now they dont know how to get it back. Have advertising with website and directory listing in the phone book. Guess I will have to eat that cost. Beware they have no customer service.

arishost.com s***s, they are cheaters and ghosts.
at their site it is 30$ per year, in fact they charge you each year 60 dollar, your domain gets suspended if you do not pay, then they black mail you for 2 weeks before renewing the domain for 60 dollars.
no email reply no phone reply, I contacted their provider tucows.com and made different complaints, yet they do not take action.
This is absolutely ruthless fake provider.
