I have been with Apollo for 4 years and thier service has gone down the drain. The Server I was one was hacked with malware and many users on the server had their files infected. Apollo tech support was no help at all. The server had outages weekly with no explaination. Our business has been hurt and Apollo then tries to steal mony from us when we decide to leave for a better and safe host. Watch out!!!

Apollo hosting is a wonderful hosting provider, with the best customer response system.

Im using them for the past 3 years, they are the best.

The Live Chat Tech Support is awesome and the low cost and great service is why I have been their customer for over 2 years. Apollo's web hosting needs little web knowledge for upkeep. If I can maintain a website, anyone can! Thanks Apollo!

I have hosted my websites with these guys for a long time now. Whenever they do something with the servers the emails are lost. Neither am i able to send anything nor receive anything.

Periodically this problem occurs all by itself and to top it off, the so called 24/7 support service is not available for days.

Very lousy customer service. If old customers get such grand treatement with this company, i dont know what happens to the newer ones.

On several occasions in the first 4 months of 2006, I have lost all incoming e-mail. This means the e-mails just stop coming in. They don't bounce, they vaporize.

I had to notice the problem and alert Tech Support. First 3 incidents were (per their explaination) due to the server running out of disk space (monitor much?).

The last incident, after they finally moved me to another server, was due to the procmailrc file having an incorrect setup. They could not explain how that could have happened.

I have to escape this, they scare me. No indication that they can properly monitor and control their system.

Poor tech support. No redundancy. No communication when they take servers down for maintenance. Really unstable email. They're a reseller so they don't always have direct control of the equipment that hosts your site. Right now they're COMPLETELY down...even their own website.

Apollo has excellent support, in particular for a larger hosting company. I have had very good experience with them across all areas ie: billing, support, uptime

My sites have gone down 4 times since hosting with Apollo. The first time was a technical problem - which they credited my account a month. The second time was because they upgraded their mgmt software. The third & fourth times were because their billing dept cancelled my account. Once because I was on auto-renew & my credit card had an error, but I wasn't notified. My sites simply went down. The next time because they used the credit from the free month they gave me & then when this expired my account expired.

In every case, my search engine rankings went down, it took a week or so to get my sites back up again & they never apologized or took responsibility.

I've been with 4 hosts in a span of 4 years. My first host was pretty good but was expensive (this was early 2000). Then my second host was good too. Great uptime and good features and was dirt cheap. However, I started to outgrow that host and needed a bit more hosting power. I found my 3rd host. This one was a nightmare. To avoid any slanderous liability I won't mention the name. Then came Apollo. Apollo was a breath of fresh air. Apollo has everything that a webmaster needs. I was looking for a dedicated IP and the ability to install my own SSL certificate. And of course be able to do all of the other simple tasks like setup mail accounts, responders, aliases, forwards, etc. Their control panel is great. It's much better than many out there. You can do everything from the control panel.
The price isn't that bad when compared to other hosts offering the same. Besides I'd rather pay a bit more but know that things will work.
Of course a hosting company can only offer so much before one might need some support. I found that Apollo's support was very good. Unlike other hosts that state that they have 24/7 live support or guarantee a response time in X hours, Apollo really does. The few times I contacted tech support was through the live chat and not only did the tech support answer any questions I had, they also fixed them for me.
All in all, I am very satisfied with Apollo Hosting.
