These guys don't have a clue... Stay away

We have been with webhost4life for years. The reliability of their service was really good up until this buyout / transition. We had a dedicated server paying over $400 a month to have it, and earlier this month they decided to switch it to the new platform. Good Luck. They never notified us of the transition, and then did it one night abruptly right before a weekend.

It was down for over a week, and we called, left support tickets, and more and obviously it is not their priority to support their customers anymore. We have a number of customers that depend on the sites we host, and we can't get ther information to them. We can no longer manage our server because they have obviously put it in an environment with port blocking and more and have no idea how to manage that on their network.

Our sites never come up, and it looks like they have a backbone hooked to a cable modem or something. The speed and reliability of the connectivity is rediculous. Their ridiculous 99.9% up time is more like 99.9% downtime. Live support is a joke... I could go ask someone on a street corner and get a better answer. Forget talking to a manager, because they don't exist, and there is no way to contact them other than the information they give. Stop payment on your pay source or close your account, because they will try to take your money even when you don't stop your services.

We host nearly 20 websites and other products with them, and as of next week, all of our business is going elsewhere. Don't trust any of the claims or anything they do.
