A Change for the WORST!

Webhost4Life was a good company. But then they decided to change to a new platform. All of this sounded good until my site was migrated. The migration took 6 months and it was just a small site of less than 30 files.
I tried to get customer service on this and they kept telling me it was ready, but when I went back it was not.
I figured, well, I'll just reload it - that way it'll be easier for all involved.
That was a bad idea because when I got everything back up my databases were no longer connectd, I couldn't even connect to the database and it took support 4 days to get this issue resolved.
Finally everything was up - I was ready to let bygones be bygones, but then when my customers started to go to my site from my business cards - they got a "403 forbidden".
I was so pissed that I decided to cancel. After all of this CRAP they charged me $35.00 to cancel!
UNBELIEVABLE!!!
NEVER USE WEBHOST4LIFE!!!!!!!
They are the most crooked, underhanded, lazy host I have EVER encountered! No wonder they're no where near the top of any list!
Ant that's a shame!

i am using webhost4life last 1 year but i can't find ever never worst service and customer service as webhost4life.
They don't have any control on there servers and they ignore to there customers.
So if you have any value to your money don't go for webhost4life webhosting.

we have worked with these folks over the last two weeks and they still have not been able to keep our site up and running. funny thing we at the client site on thursday trying to launch the site when it all of a sudden started crashing due to no fault of ours and while we were on the phone with their incompetent support tech there sales person calls asking my client to renew for another year. the support techs have no clue and when they escalate an issue to engineering it simply goes into a black hole and eventually some annonymous person will update the case saying it has been tested and closes the issue. never any resolve just endless time wasted trying to hound these guys on the phone to no avail. would definitely not recommend webhost4life.

webhost4life cannot keep a website running

I am currently on hold while these people try to figure out why my site is down again. This is twice in the past few months and it happens for weeks at a time. Not seconds, not hours, not days, but weeks. They have no idea why this happens and they always blame me but I have not touched anything.

As others have said, they recently migrated to a new system which is horribly unreliable. My pages go down multiple times a day and it is costing me Google rankings. Their technical support people also have no answers and no idea what is happening or why. I am going to migrate away from them later this week.

Since the takeover, I read somewhere the Support now comes from India and the responders are not even technical people. Doesn't that say it all! They have mucked up my online forms - I had to replace the coding on about 20 sites,they lost 2 of my databases including all the data and I had sites down and no responses from the Support Ticket except false apologies. I am looking for a new host and will move all my sites.

I had about 30 domains hosted on their server for past 7 years, all came down crashing on May 20th, 2010 after they migrated my sites to so called new platform, their support sucked, No email notifications about migrations or anything. My sites only showed server errors. They are not a reliable host anymore. I moved all my sites to a different host. Buyers beaware. They also enabled auto renew option on my account, which I had to turnoff. Final verdict Stay away from them.

I've been with this company for over 5 years, and I have about 20 accounts with them. I was really happy with them, thought the value was excellent, and support was excellent.
A few months ago, they began to change. The got bought or merged with someone and began "upgrading" all of the sites. Like I mentioned previously, I have about 20 clients that I use WebHost4Life for to host their sites. I have a site that has been down for over 5 days, "internal server error". Nothing I do seems to motivate them to take care of the issue. Every chat session or phone call I make, I get the same canned responses, that an engineer is looking into it. I don't know how long it takes someone to reboot a server, or change a configuration setting, but having a site down for 5 days (and counting) tells me they don't have anyone working on it, nor do they seem to care enough to get it fixed promptly. Meanwhile, my client is losing credibilty and business while his website is inaccessible.
I'm in the process of finding a different host, there are plenty of them out there, and moving all of my accounts away from this terrible hosting provider.

Botched WebHost4Life migration

Man these guys… what clowns. I’ve been with them since early 2006. It was never great but it was ok and it was cheap (for IIS hosting).
But now, after this so-called migration, it’s all gone to hell.
Two websites both down for TEN DAYS! TEN FREAKIN DAYS!!! And STILL not fixed.
I used to recommend these bozos to others that wanted low cost IIS hosting. Every single one of them has been down anywhere from one to many days after this migration.
And the best part; they timed the migration on all of those accounts for just after the plans came up for renewal.
This is THE WORST experience I’ve had with a hosting company, ever.
Please, pretty pretty please:
– take your business elsewhere
– tell everybody to post everywhere about these idiots so they don’t fall prey
I sincerely hope they go bust. It would be a service to humanity.

I started developing FishWisePro in July last year. At the time WH4L were efficient, good value for money, reasonably fast, and simple to set up.
When they were bought out by Endurance International Group, whose mission is to offer an "outstanding customer experience", all hell broke loose.
The "migration" process reduced the site to a blank page, and an empty database with most of the tables missing. It took a week of jumping up and down with their completely *useless* help centre to finally get them to let me have access to my files in order to fix the problem.
They simply cannot support more than one web site on one account, in spite of their assurances to the contrary.
The speed and reliability of the server has plummeted dramatically. The site was effectively unusable for 12 days, and now its performance is patchy at best.
The only thing keeping me from moving the site to another hosting company is that I would have to upload all the data again.
WH4L have lost 10,000 customers in 5 months. I'm surprised they haven't lost more.
