I've been using SiteGround for a couple years now, and for the most part, have found them to provide excellent service.
The issues I've had have been a result of my own ignorance of exactly how to do things to set up a website, but their tech support is, in a word, FANTASTIC. (My last issue, this morning was resolved in 3 minutes--by email support!)
The only way it could be faster would be if they somehow could answer my questions before I knew I had them--which their extensive help and knowledge base often can do.
I have experienced a bit of trouble navigating in their site, as it is easy to select an option from the left menu which results in circular path travels through the site.
All in all, I and my clients have been very happy with their service.

Pricing is unbelievable. I needed a site to post recorded lectures for fellow classmates and my own podcast. They have a plethora of software to choose from and free assistance in developing a webpage. I haven't had single problem yet. They were quick to answer my technical question. I highly recommend their services.

Hi if you plan to host with Siteground and you send out a newsletter be prepared for the following in smallprint:
The Customer should use the email and other related services in full compliance with the terms below:
1. Each customer's account is allowed to send a maximum of 400 emails per hour. Any account that exceeds this limitation is endangering the overall server performance.
2. Each email sent by the customer should have NO more than 20 recipients. Sending a single email to more than 20 recipients simultaneously is endangering the overall server performance.
3. The use of email clients with IMAP protocol is allowed for mailboxes with a maximum size up to 100MB. Any use of IMAP with a bigger mailbox is endangering the overall server performance.
4. SiteGround allows up to 100 checks per hour for a POP3 mailbox. Any use of POP3 service to check a mailbox more often than 100 times per hour is endangering the overall server performance.
If only I had read the smallprint! Now they want £40.00 a month to upgrade me to a virtual
server. Bad move! Learn't my lesson.

Simply an awful host from my expereince throughout 2006.
They apparently provide 40GB of web space and 900GB month transfer, but in reality these figures are pretty much meaningless, as their servers cannot cope and so they put in T&C to arbitarily limit disc space, or else have many downtimes . We have had problems with email on the account.
Add to this, poor customer care (which they say is good, but only if you dont need to contact them!) and the whole experience of siteground is pure grief. As I say, dont touch them with a barge pole, despite they seemingly good feature lists and hard sell, unless you dont care how reliable your website will be.

Apart low pricing policies of SiteGround, fastness of the servers and the sercice practically up 24/7/365, i would like to remark professionality, friendly way and the fastly solving of problems/deals (2/3 minutes) from their support staff.
They really make every possible effort.
When i subscribed with them an hosting plan, registering of my domain was free and everything was up in a couple of hours (they even phoned me too from the USA about some details).
I'm surely going to renew my subscribtion with them: it's a "gold" service.

I have been hosted at SiteGround for about a year and a half and honestly I have never had a bad day there.
In my opinion, the Tech Support Team is great! They helped me move my Mambo website to them (my other host was real nightmare), helped me rebuild it, and with the help of their great tutorials I’m managing my website with no hassle. Once I signed up, I had my website up and running almost immediately.
The response time has always been well up to standard. The same applies to all their departments – billing, sales, etc, etc. They really had this 7 ticket limitation on the tickets a client may post. I was disappointed at first, however after they explained me why they placed it, I started to see the results – faster and more detailed replies…Now the limitation is gone so I believe that the new SiteGround’s clients should not be scared of that.

If you complain about them in their forums, especially their forum where users review them, moderation makes sure it won't show up.
Their tech support used to have 7 tickets and then they charged you. Now it's multiple but all their techs are newbies.
Their servers have constant problems and errors, making their promised features not work and their techs outright refuse to fix them. CPANEL not working, random errors from their servers being overloaded that they try to blame on your site, lag, etc.
