This hosting is a very frustrating to me and I do not recommend it. You ask for a technical support and they will ask for your password. The worst part is the backup feature is disabled of Cpanel, and if you want a full backup they will charge you per backup. Siteground sucks! I don't know why this hosting got good reviews. My site has been hosted for over a week and I already have these error and problem on my site. My other host LUNARPAGES, they are way better than them. The reason why i decided Siteground to host one of my sites is because I thought its cheaper. Ewwwww! I made a bad decision.

Extremely Poor Service

Many links did not work inside the control panel and resulted in page errors. I used the tool to automatically import FTP settings into Filezilla. It wiped out ALL my clinet FTP settings, There was no warning that stated this would overwrite current settigs.
I used the service for 30 minutes and decided that this wasn't the service for me. There was not a real person to sepak with in billing when I wanted to cancel the account. I was given wrong instructions from the only person that I could speak with - a person from "pre-support."
Even though this is a totally automated system, they force you to check a box to agree that they can keep $24.95 for setup.

Talk about a bait and switch. They offer you 750GB of disk space and 7.5 Terabytes of bandwidth. I bit...and the taste was bitter indeed. Please go IMMEDIATELY to their TOS page and specifically reference their hard drive policy. No file type: database/app, email, archive, picture, text, video or audio may individually exceed 5GB. If any do, they summarily cancel your account, delete your data (all without warning) and you lose EVERYTHING!!! Now that list is pretty much every single file type available so by their own math, your TOTAL disk consumption CANNOT EXCEED 45GB (one file type does allow for a max of 15GB) or they destroy your entire site without warning, apology or any chance of recourse. So how can they offer ANYONE 750GB of disk space when NO ONE can use more than than 45GB???? I will NOT be renewing with these criminals at the end of my term with them and I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Criminal charges should be filed for outright fraud.

Try out the shortest package first. It will save a big pain in the ass, as well as the 'setup fee,' which is supposed to be overlooked for signing up for 2 years.
Plain & simple bait with big numbers, and switch to rules that effectively bars a site for obtaining anything near advertised.

This host is amazing. It was the 3rd one that I tried. The first two had so much downtime I could hardly see my site at all. Also, I never see ads for SiteGround, so it makes me think that people must be recommending it to each other.

I recommend SiteGround to anyone. The turn-around time for Support Tickets are exceptional. Am having a time of my life! However, PostgreSQL support services take longer (~30 min longer) to get sorted.
