I have been with this host since Oct 09 and I have to say I am impressed with their service including customer support. Very efficient and worth every penny.
Only once did my server have connection issue which was down to the data centre but that was resolved very quickly and within 3 hours (replaced hardware) where I was kept notified of the situation throughout.
Thumbs up for me.

Within the first few days, they responded to my ticket on restoring backup from my local machine WITHOUT accessing previous host cPanel (that's significant because previous host no longer existed . . . they went south with my money).
SiteGround was very very impressive with their support and managed to restore my backup successfully and now I'm up and running!

Siteground are a bunch of crooks there is no contact number for there offices when u cann the number on the website u can only talk to the customer rep ucant even get transferred to another u can speak to a supervisor or get an email address for one of them. I have over 12 accounts i recommend godaddy

Live Chat is not Live chat
they will screw you for every little charge they can, transfering a domain from siteground is an absolute nightmare.
you should avoid this company at all cost, just like they avoid their paying customers.

Similar experience to the guy who wrote the "Stay Away" message.
Advertised as "free website transfer". When I go to transfer -- they say my site is too large (1500 mb) ... every other provider says no problem. They want $49.
Then, I want to close account -- even though the sales rep said free 30day trial ... cancelling is now $24.95 to cover set up fees which were waived (even though the set up process is automatic.
I attempt to cancel -- go to billing panel and click all the cancel buttons. I have to click link in email, then I get a chat (Martin) who tries MORE sales. I tell him all I want is ALL money back since I am in "free" 30 day trial and he tells me I must now email Billing. So over 60 minutes has been invested in cancelling and I am still not cancelled!

I purchased a hosting account in error. Thinking that I am getting domain name only. Yes im and idiot and did not pay attention to small print. After 10 days I wanted to change the name servers and found out that they charged me $50.00 for 1 year of hosting, now I want to cancel the account that was not used at all , im being hit with $40.00 in fees. How fair is that. It takes 1 mouse click to go in WHM admin and delete an account. Where ever you contact them , phone, chat ect you can cancel but for complains you must go to some crap forum support , I cant wait to contact BBB
