I moved over a site of ours on a trial basis and the site has some really nice tools and script installed for you to use. Not to mention the Google tools . I ended up moving over the family site as well. Customer service is through email in general and this I think is due to being overseas in England I believe. I would tell anyone looking if you want a company without all the cheap intro and then constant emails and "deals" filling up your box like " your Daddy" does then these guys are the right choice. ( here another for you. come to our site and if you change to Site ground as your host then we will give an extra 5%) ( Must give name of site if you have one or email address so we can verify) http://www.thecasedepot.com

I manage a website but I am far from being a technician. When something pops up unexpected, I tend to believe the worst has happened and I go into overdrive! I had a Sql error message when trying to use the admin panel of the site and immediately submitted a service ticket to SiteGround technical support. I got a response within 3 minutes, asking for more information. I provided it and not only did the issue get resolved, they explained how they resolved it and pointed me to a few FAQ links and services that will allow me to repair the problem next time. In total, the problem was resolved within 10 or 15 minutes of my initial trouble ticket being submitted. Most of the delay was from my end. You just can't beat that service - particularly if you're not a technician and want a website that runs smoothly!

Initial setup misleading. After a year the fee skyrockets and they do not tell you the first year is a special offer.
Site is slow and errors are frequent. Support is decent, but not of the quality they make themselves out to be.
Most of the time it takes multiple support requests to get a decent answer. They are also great at closing support tickets that are not resolved. They also automatically bill you at the end of the first discounted year and do not tell you of the drastic increase.
All they are concerned with is money. Find another web host for your site and email

We also send email reminders before the expiration date to let you know that your service will be renewed. If you had no intention to renew, please post a ticket to our Billing department, they will try to provide you with a suitable resolution of the issue.

My website is quite basic and some of the questions I asked may have seemed very basic to some, however the folks at Siteground have been tremendous. The speed and correctness of responses has been outstanding. As well as answering specific questions they have also pointed me to other online material (win-win.
The Knowledgebase articles/questions have been most helpful as well.
The setup assistance was most beneficial, and the backend to the site is quite intuitive.
No complaints at all!!

I have always found the SiteGround staff really pleasant and efficient and the speed with which they reply to queries is amazing. However, I find the SiteGround site very confusing and overly complicated. It has taken me many months to get used to it.
Having said that, I use them for my 2 sites, and I wouldn't hesitate to use them again over any other hosting service.
