Having spent several years struggling with a competitor, I eventually followed a web-based review site and changed my host company. The service was great, but only a couple of months later, I received notification that I had to change my host because my site contained unacceptable content (I am an internationally acclaimed artist specialising in the genre of art-nude).
Back to the search engines, and although not at the top of the list, my initial contact with Arvixe was more than positive, even taking the trouble to suggest to me money saving alternatives, in addition to assuring me that my site content was fine with them.
Here I am several months later, and finally I can say "I have cracked it !". Their service is second to none, as is their technical capacity, which just got even better following a recent server upgrade. Down-time seems to be a thing of the past, but more importantly, I now have a host that is not only competent, but polite and courteous in the process.

Easy setup, easy control panel, value pricing. I'm not doing anything amazingly complex with my web site, but Arvixe has been a great web host so far.

It took a lot of looking around and trying sites before I found Arvixe. Those cheap and free hosts end up with really bad customer service when they are there and they tend to disappear quickly, leaving you without a host and, if you don't have a backup, without your site.
I found Arvixe through a review site and tried them out. I was leery of another "cheap" host becuase of bad experiences everywhere else, but I decided to give them a try. I have had nothing but good experiences since. They are helpful and their prices are great. They also have excellent uptime, allowing my site to remain online without interruptions.
If you're looking for a low cost hosting plan with good customer service and with a host that isn't going anywhere, try out Arvixe. There was only one other host I've ever had that equalled or topped Arvixe, and I have had many over the years.

The hosting experiance with Arvixe is good. Server performance and uptime is too good. I noted that customer Care persons are their to do their job realy. They try to point to orginal location of problem and in major cased resolved in few minutes over chat. Price is high with compare to my old hosting provider but features and performance is at better level.

I had an issue with modifying my database table using SQL Server Management Studio. I contacted the customer service rep. We could not figure out, I gave up and went to bed. When I woke up in the morning the customer service rep found that the problem was some settings in SSMS that I need to do. It was a new thing in SSMS 2008. I am glad they worked hard and solved it while I had a good night sleep. If it was other hosting they would have just simply said that it is my problem to set up SSMS.

You never realize for certain how poor many other hosts are until you try Arvixe. I think perhaps some of this is due to the personal interest that the owner takes in reviews the company receives. It appears that he really wants to have the best and highest rated hosting company and is working very hard for that. The Support staff are awesome. Their Windows servers run beautifully, and that's saying a lot for Windows Server 2008 and IIS7, because some outfits don't have a good handle on getting the most from them.
