Years ago I hosted at 123hostnow, never had a problem and had good tech support. NOW...... nada nothing!!! I paid for a years account and got nothing.... and I mean nothing. No answered mails, no answered calls! The 123hostnow site is completely down.
Shame on me for not looking up reviews. 100bux down the tube.

If you don't care about customer service -this is the place for you -but if you have ANY questions- there's only one guy that works for the company (Domingo Pichardo) and he will NOT answer calls, trouble tickets, or anything else. Complete waste of time....

123HostNow must be the worst tech support in the industry. I have two domains with FrontPage issues. I have sent at least a dozen e-mail requests for assistance--no answer. I am moving my domains.

Not bad hosting, but absolutely NO customer service. Haven't answered a trouble ticket, email, or phone call in 3 years. I don't think anyone is actually there - I would bet it's Domingo Pichardo running the stuff out of his house.....

They just don't respond to any request for help - no matter how urgent. Even though I paid for domains, I've had them expire and sites go down because they didn't renew them. Their own forum is full of people upset with the service. They aren't even worth wasting time to write anymore.

Tech Support worse than AOL

Easy setup, easy upgrades - TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SUPPORT - no one answers emails, no one answers the phone (I had to use alternative sources to find a phone number because it isn't listed anywhere on their site). They tried double and even triple billing me on MANY occasions for yearly services - when I had renewed them less then 3 months prior. The ONLY response I got was through the forum (which I have also been removed from because they don't like the questions I ask) and I was told to submit a trouble ticket. I still have 17 open trouble tickets - NONE OF WHICH HAVE BEEN ANSWERED. I REALLY think that this "operation" is ONE PERSON - Domingo Pichardo, and no one else works there. I wouldn't be surprised if it was now running out of his house. If you have an easy, simple site - this isn't a bad plan - but if you are looking for tech support - well, think of your worst possible problems dealing with AOL - AT LEAST AOL ANSWERS!

This company hardly qualifies as a hosting company. Their shared bandwidth is limited and clients who never go above their bandwidth limitations are constantly seeing bog downs because there are too many sites sharing a single machine.

Their billing department is a joke: at no point in the 2 years that I have been with them, after the initial billing, have I been billed correctly, and their tech support, billing, and customer support is all the same guy - his name is Domingo, and he doesn't answer his phone, emails, support tickets, or online in the forum. AS far as I can tell, this guy has actually passed away, and no one knows what his deal is.

I would recommend hosting geocities before recommending 123hostnow - that's how bad it is... don't be lured by the prices - the packages aren't all that great, and tech support/customer support/billing support (any kind of support) is completely non-existant.

I had great expectations for this company. Unfortunately, my site crashed on a frequent basis and the support staff really let me down. One of the consistent errors I saw on my site was an "RPC Error," which is an error that occurs within the operating system - out of my control. (I was on a shared account). Support emails to the staff would go unnoticed for two or three days at a time. It was very frustrating. When I left the company at the end of the year, my troubles weren't over. I had to contact them several times because I was having problems with my domain name. Recently it expired and I had to renew it. When I emailed them asking for assistance, they completely ignored me. They're now using a SPAM control system for incoming email, which means that when you send them an email you get an automatic response. Within this response you're provided a link and a special code (embedded in an image). When you click the link and enter the code the system recognizes you as a "real person," and not a SPAMMER sending out unsolicited email. Unfortunately the system is broken. When I entered the code they supplied I was sent back to the originating page. I was stuck in a loop. I tried several email addresses and nothing worked. NONE of my email reached their staff because their system wasn't working. In desperation I emailed their sales staff and I still haven't received a response, weeks later. Thankfully I was able to renew my domain after I found an old email in my outbox from the year before. The biggest problem with this company is their response time to technical problems. Hopefully, they've worked out the kinks in their servers and you won't see "RPC Errors." If they've continued to maintain their lackluster customer support, then I can only advise you stay far away from them. Just remember that you get what you pay for. Affordability does not necessarily mean good service.
