I went with Omnis a couple years ago on the recommendation of a colleague. WORST advice ever! Not only can they fail to meet their 99.9% uptime guarantee, when I confronted them about it with my pingdom reports, they had the gaul to tell me that I was not allowed to ping their servers.

I often got no response to my questions... you can never get through by phone, and when the servers are running, they're SLOW!

I instantly increased by ySlow performance score when I switched from Omnis to Bluehost, and am much happier with their customer service.

DO NOT USE OMNIS. They don't care about you, your site, or their business. You can find a lot of other shared hosts out there for $5.95/month or cheaper. I hope this review convinces someone not to go with this horrible company.
