to this review here Interkey is positioned to be an excellent ISP, however, it sufferes from the ability to keep talented tech support people, and they are unable to keep to the 24/7 monitoring and service claim that they make.
The outages are few and far between, but often they take place when no one is around. Messages must be left on answering machines. The problems do get fixed however.
A plus in their favor is that you can speak with people when they are in, and you can get some things done that other providers would either be unable to do, or would not help with.
The pricing is fine. They have various plans, and the economy plan, which is not listed here (9.95) is used by people I know without issue. That's good for a small (1-3 page) site.
I have read some of the reviews here, and I know for a fact that Interkey went though some changes. They have made several attempts to make the automated control panel and other features (it's a canned ISP app) work, but as mentioned by another reviewer, it is flawed. Personally, the only item I use is the email account setup. That works fine.
It's an IIS-based system (well, the area which supports my site is), and you can integrate with a DB in a fairly painless manner. I have my billing automated via credit card, and I don't recall any problem with that.
The bottom line is that Interkey is certainly better than a lot of the other players out there, but it does suffer from being able to have someone on-call 24/7. As I write this, they are coming off a weekend outage. This isn't good, but as I have learned, Interkey has it's own service provider which gets them to the backbone. Sometimes they give them problems, and knowing who they are, it's understandable. Perhaps this is one of those times, but what is not understandable is the inablility to contact someone 24/7 when there is a problem. Knowing that people are aware of the problem and working on it, is worth its weight in gold in this day and age. It's much better than just reaching an answering machine.
Network status and claims of 24/7 support are not valid and should be either dropped or enforced. One or the other, but not advertised when they don't exist.
