This was my first web host, which was recommended by friends that use the service. They said it was the best. I have not used any other service but if there is a service better, it has to run the site for me. I was told that with ICDSoft I will receive prompt technical support and server uptime is almost 100% - mine has been at 100% since signing. Response to my really naive questions have been answered within minutes with clear and precise answers that even I, a newbie can understand. For my first web host, they are setting the bar really high for any other host that I would consider.

We have several sites that we host at ICDsoft as a reseller. I remain with them because of their outstanding support. I have found no other host that responds as quickly as they do (average of 5 min. or less). Often they will go beyond what you ask of them (example: fixing code or scripts). I stay because customer service is a rarity these days and ICDsoft is by far the best from a hosting service that I have encountered.

Installing my site on the host was totally painless. Since then the site, including some perl scripts, has run faultlessly.

I rated customer service a 10, but actually I've never dealt with any of the reps. That's because I've had no problems, which is exactly what I hoped for.

I had been looking for the best webhosting service, until I found ICDSoft!

A web hosting company needs to do only two things, provide fantastic uptime percentages and fantastic support. ICDSoft is the only web hosting company I've used so far that gets this. They also post the uptime stats for every server from the day it went online. Trust me, the stats are impressive!

Support questions are typically answered within ten minutes. I don't mean your question is acknowledged within ten minutes and will then be answered later. I get the answer in less than 10 minutes, sometimes in less than 5 minutes. Does not matter what time of day or day of the week. It's almost scary how good their support is:)

You won't see lots of ads for them. They don't have lots of bells and whistles. They simply are the best of the best.

In 7 years, I have never had it take longer than 10 minutes to first response on a technical matter and resolution in a big big hurry.

I wish they supported a better email list solution ( Mailman would be my choice ) but other than that, I have always bee 100% happy with their support, response, attitude and try as I might to find a better host, I never have!

I had been with ipower for over 6 years. Over the last 18 months so, it has been increasingly difficult to make contact with iPower support. Most wait times on the phone or chat have been in excess of 45 minutes and if I opened a ticket online, it could take 10 - 24 hours before getting a response much less a answer. There have been times when the texaspepper.net was down or PHP/MySQL board/DB was working incorrectly-not on my errors or any changes I had done. Not major issues, but still needing technical support as to why the down time.

I filed for a divorce with iPower just 3 weeks before my 04/08 renewal with them! Hitched up with ICDSoft in a flash. Transfered all files to ICDSoft server and reset the DNS servername. Back on the net.

ICDSoft Control Panel is basic on the front end but has good depth as you move into the needed functions. ICDSoft support emailed me in 5 minutes after I signed up with all the needed DNS namedservers, temp login.

Had a issue pointing the PHP board to the new site and need to change config.php file. Emailed support and in 10 minutes they were back with the correct link and in fact went in and did the edit of the file for me. Everything was up and running. Took no more than a few hours for the domain name to resolve and show on ICDSoft. Great support. Good server speed and a fair price for the product.

Coming from a real dog of a host (aaa-webhost), I cannot believe the service at ICDSoft. Support is simply amazing. Every ticket is answered in 10 minutes or less by a knowledgable person - how can they do it? More difficult requests receive prompt followup and resolution - they have implemented several enhancements for me at my request.

Besides pushing 100% uptime, the servers are fast - pages load in very little time. And the price is low. I cannot imagine a way ICDSoft could be any better. (and no, I don't work for them, and have no connection, aside from being a *very* satisfied customer)

I've been authoring multiple web sites since 1995. ICD Soft is, by far, the best host I've had. I have had some problems with know-it-all techs snobby techs (who among us hasn't?), but they are very quick to respond to any issues. The longest amount of time I had to wait for a resolution was for an SSL certificate that we had to have installed (extra $10 a year), but even that took less than 45 minutes. At 2 a.m. in the morning. Their Knowledge Base is also actually helpful - first time for everything, I guess. I've slowly been transferring all my web sites to theirs as my other hosting plans for the other domain names I have expire. They even give sliding scale discounts for hosting multiple web sites with them. These guys are the real deal. But please be aware of their server side language limitations: no Java, no JSP, no ASP, and no ColdFusion.
