to this review here I have been a customer of this company for half a year now and I have
only seen a similar service in my IT department at NYU. These guys are
absolutely the BEST!!! I want to give them high five and recommend it
to everybody who are looking to get great value and the absolutely best
customer support and treatment in the world.
I am not exaggerating. Here is why.
I have signed up with them to get hosting. My hosting is a shared
hosting and I was able to get it at a very good rate=$3 per month.
Then, I have decided to add an e-store and have decided to use
osCommerce which is a free software if you know how to install it and
integrated it. The support people at HostMySite were absolutely
amazing. While they do not officially support the product (they have
their own MivaMerchant product) they never turned me down! They have
helped me set it up, run it and even change the code so that it works
and looks its best. They offer an awesome SSL certificate from X-Ramp
for a very good price of $80 per year. But they were willing to
actually extend the same X-Ramp certification to the site for free by
integrating osCommerse with their system which already is protected by
the SSL. And any time I have a question they are there. Always
patient, courteous and just plain wonderful.
I have called many companies as I was researching, and even GoDaddy
can't compare. When I asked them if they would be willing to work with
me on osCommerse they bluntly told me they do not sell it and hence do
not support it. So much for the good customer support.
