My letter to Host Department

I want to cancel my account with Host Depart. When initially signing up, your site boasts a 100% uptime, but for the last 2 weeks my site has been anything but up. My site has not been accessible due to server timeouts and servers not being found over 90% of the time. The script packages that come installed in the control panel are non functioning as the database server can not be accessed.

I've contacted tech support more times than I can count, who has given me the same excuse every single day about your SysAdmin is looking into the problem and to try back later. I've grown frustrated with trying back later and the same thing continues to happen. I can't run an online hosting business if my OWN site is never up, so how can I expect to tell my customers that their sites will be up.

I spend more time in chat support waiting for answers, than getting any answers. And the answers I do get don't even begin to make sense let alone relate to the problem that I am having.

Their Response to My Letter

We have received your request upon closing your account with our hosting provider. First of all, Please kindly accept our sincere apology for all the disappointment and the inconvenience caused by the service. We really understand the critical situation that you have experienced, We endeavor to make the most of the service however the server downtime occasionally inevitable and intermittent, We also admit that we might have not served you as much as you expect, Hence we would like you to give us a second chance to make it all up or at least do whatever we can do which is to transfer the server to another one which is more reliable and less downtime. Please reconsider and we will also add another free months for 1 month and 2 with 50% Discount price.

Prior to that, We have taken the step to follow up your request by suspending your account temporarily, Please let us know as soon as possible that you are willing to give us another chance and we will reinstate your account shortly, We'll e looking forward to hearing from you soon.

These guys are terrible and I haven't seen a worse host anywhere before. Let the buyer BEWARE of dirtbags like this.
