to this review here At first, I started with them after being tired of the hosting choices my ex-business partner was making. First a cheapo who moved our site to a new IP address without forwarding. Then a "friend" of his who basically wouldn't allow me anything. Then I found FQ...
Lightening fast FTP, great uptime, amazing service, everything they use is customized to their company. NO CPANEL!!!! The custom CNC is great, stats decent, their web interface to EZ-MLM fantastic, free spam assasin with the ability to black hole an addres (who actually has "sales@mydomain.com"?), or bounce anything that doesn't pass spam filters. Lots of control, easily.
Since then I tried other hosts for some small projects or to get cheaper access to MySQL. All dismal experiences. All new sites of mine are at FQ. I'd rather pay more and have it done right the first time.
A lot of other webmasters laugh at me for paying a onetime fee for subdomains and IRM's. Well, after my other host upgraded Cpanel and mispointed my add-on domains to empty directories that were created by the upgrade, I'm more convinced than ever I'd rather pay money than heartache.
Hosting is important to my business. If it's important to yours, FQ is the best.
