eHost : eHost Reviews : Still one of the worst

It looks like ehost support hasn't gotten any better since the last reviewer made his statement.

I had been with ehost for several years and when it was working, things were fine... but just try to get something done when there was a problem and it was like pulling teeth. Every year on my renewal date, there would be some kind of issue with processing the payment, resulting in my domain being down for several weeks while they resolved it. It would require daily hounding of them to get them to even admit that there was a problem.

Most recent issue (and the one that forced me to finally give up on them) was that my email forwarding stopped working. It took my contacting 3 different tech support people before they understood that the problem was with my email not my website (despite my description very clearly stating that the website was working fine, but email wasn't) and then they told me that they weren't hosting the email, they were resellers for another company and I would have to call them. Dutifully, I called the other company and was told (as I suspected) that they did not support end users directly. That is the job of the reseller. Ehost refused to honour that responsibility so I left them for a more responsible hosting company.
