I had hosted a few sites with AveHost, and had many many problems with them. In reality, problems occur, but these these guys had way too many problems such as servers down, or things not working as expected. But the worst part is the customer service -- I have deduced over time that the company is a guy and his wife. The wife is largely non-technical, but still fills the role of support rep. He (Chris) does the administrative parts only, and simply says that the lady will handle the tech issues. Arrrggghhh!!!

There is nothing good to be said about them, even the low price was not worth that.

It appears they have changed to WebMyStyle.com, who has a poor support rep (named Alan) as well. When telling him that the ftp timeout is too short and annoying, he says he's does not know what ftp is. Huh!?!?!?
