Server is always down. My problem is I have so many site with them it is difficult to change. I fear losing my good ranking on the search engines. I just wish they would get their act together.

I have been associated with reseller accounts at AIT for over 6 years and found their service is way below par. We recently dropped all hosting with them even though we had prepaid for a year's service and had credit due we just bailed and found another provider.

In the past two months they have lost thousands of emails during their Redhat DNS update which took 2-4 days to repair with a total loss of all email sent during that time period. As of today at 4PM we noticed several sites hosted on AIT (not ours) went down and have been down now for 4 hours.

Lately our server has been down a lot with AIT and all we get is cut and paste responses. But the bad part is if there is a 404 page not found request it goes straight to Tybit. It uses the domain to get people to click on paid links and even lists the domain as available for registration. They are stealing the visitors and using the clicks to make ad dollars for themselves. They did all of this without notifying anyone. We are moving all thirty websites to another host.

AIT has helped me from the ground up. They have a great staff that is knowledgeable in web design, hosting and business development. They were and are very helpful to me every time I have a question. In fact they are redesigning a new site for me right now. Thanks for the Great service and support

I can't believe this company still exists. If you get services from AIT you WILL regret it. Horrible support, random corrupt billing practices, the worst features. Stay away!

I don't even know where to begin, they're so bad.

First of all, if you read any posts by ex-employees, they say many of the managed dedicated servers aren't even truly dedicated. This would explain why they continually crash due to hundreds upon hundreds of spammer SMTP requests. (Blacklisted IP's, here we come!) Oh, and ex-employees also say these dedicated boxes are actually pared down low-end Dell desktops, which is why the hardware (hard drives, CPUs, and fans totally go out beyond recovery).

I've gone through multiple hard drive and hardware crashes with my "pretend" managed dedicated server. It's been down for days before, as in multiples of 24 hours. And, despite Mike Roberts' claims of being monitored, the only monitor on this box has been ME.

Yes, 24/7, you must be dedicated (more than the server itself) to checking and making sure the server is up, because it will be a cold day in hell if the techs ever bring a downed server back without being told - by YOU - that it's down.

And you better not hold your breath, because your trouble tickets may not get answered for a day or more, and you'll spend hours on hold before you can talk to a receptionist - NOT a tech - who will turn around and hand off your problem to a tech you'll never get to speak with.

You'll be put on hold, disconnected, lied to outright, and basically told to shove it when things get bad. You'll be sold services that don't exist, hear impossible explanations for why their equipment fails, and asked to pay ridiculous prices to upgrade to services and equipment sub-par with the industry JUST to keep your web sites up and running. And for this privilege they will bill you, religiously, even AFTER you cancel. Even the Terminator isn't that dedicated to taking you money.

Uptime guarantee? Tech support? Real servers? Monitoring? You have to be kidding. You aren't going to find it at AIT.

You're a hostage. You're ripe for the picking. And, if you have a brain, you'll run away from AIT like the hounds of hell were at your heels.

Think of the most profane and obscene word to describe them, multiply it times ten, and you still haven't come close.

For the last 6 months I have had to call at least twice a week and bring to their attention that my sites were down. They are the ones that offer the plan I have which offers unlimited virtual host and 99.99% uptime but had the nerve to tell me if I wanted better service and no down time I needed to pay more money and switch to a dedicated server. Unless you don't mind finding your clients sites down and having them complain to you and in turn upon calling AIT you have an extremely high stress level, stay away from AIT. With time I gaurantee you will be looking for another hosting company and will have to go through the pain of transferring everything.

I am not someone who complains alot but AIT has been incredibly bad. The site has been down 3 times in the 3 months that I have been with them. I made the mistake of thinking they would realize it and it stayed down for an entire night until I called. The site would not pull up 1 time with out www in front on with the url minus the www. They repeatedly told me the service was working. I had to submit 5 tickets before someone called and "I" figured out that the site would work with www. Horrible
