terrible tech support

I have signed up for their hosting on two personal sites recently. One site is running fine, was easy to set up and I didnt have to contact them about any problems. However, the second site which I started to build after the first, has not even gotten off the ground yet. I have got a "pending account change" warning and cant get past it. I ordered the hosting on a Sunday and found the problem. On Monday they said it would be corrected in 24 hours. On Tuesday they said it would be taken care of within 24 hours, but most likely within 6. On Wednesday, they said 24 hours. I got sick of calling, and went out of town, so I waited until the next Sunday to check on the problem. The problem was still there. I called and the person then said it was a serious problem and went to a "different level of tech support," whatever that means. He said the problem would be taken care of within 24 -48 hours. Its now 72 hours from that point and the problem persists. So, in all, its been 10 days since I signed up for a hosting plan and I do not even have access to my account and have no idea when it will be fixed. I have started to look for other hosting sites hoping that the tech support will be knowledgeable and honest. I chose them because many podcasts I watch and believe in have them as sponsors. They were also relatively cheap with promo codes from those podcasts. This sours me on the whole situation and I am extremely angry at godaddy for being the tech horror story you hear about, but never experience, that is until now.
