I have been shopping for a host several months ago and went with Bluehost. So far no I have no complaints. Excellent uptime, features and support.

The plan is very generous, the price is more than reasonable. Most important, customer service/tech support is superb. The phone menu system is simple and gets you to a live human with just a few selections.

Blue Host should be the model for all hosting companies. They're that good.

This site is a great deal. Good uptime and the ability to host multiple sites with one account. They were at 3 when I signed up, but now you can host 6 websites on one account! That a deal that I haven't seen elsewhere, making this an excellent choice for freelancers or people who support several clients.

The reason for the low technical score is they do not offer a feature on which I highly depend. They do not support external database access. That means that you MUST use phpMyAdmin or the pgSQL equivalent to access your databases. You cannot access them from a desktop application or directly from development boxes.

I contacted tech support about options for getting access. They were responsive but not very helpful. The only option they give is they'll 'whitelist' your IP for the entire shared server. If you don't have a static IP then you have to contact them again everytime your IP changes. Please! That's no substitute for being able to specify IP's yourself when you need to wait 24hrs to keep working everytime your IP changes.

I would definetley go back to them....great host...NO CATCH!!!!

I have been with a lot of web hosting providers and have to say that Bluehost are one of the Best.

With their multi-domain hosting package I host all of my sites at quite a reasonable price.

Definitely recommended!
