to this review here It took a lot of looking around and trying sites before I found Arvixe. Those cheap and free hosts end up with really bad customer service when they are there and they tend to disappear quickly, leaving you without a host and, if you don't have a backup, without your site.
I found Arvixe through a review site and tried them out. I was leery of another "cheap" host becuase of bad experiences everywhere else, but I decided to give them a try. I have had nothing but good experiences since. They are helpful and their prices are great. They also have excellent uptime, allowing my site to remain online without interruptions.
If you're looking for a low cost hosting plan with good customer service and with a host that isn't going anywhere, try out Arvixe. There was only one other host I've ever had that equalled or topped Arvixe, and I have had many over the years.
