to this review here I did contact the Better Business Bureau, and here's what I said: I purchased a two year webhosting account for $166.80 from AccuBURST on 09/04/2005. Since I have been using their services I have experienced a breech of their 99.9% uptime guarantee about every month. I have contacted AccuBURST by email, their website support form, and telephone and rarely get responses from them. I have had several issues lately with lag time up to two and three minutes on my websites and account administration area. Lag has been a serious problem with their service since I first acquired my account, which indicates overburdened servers. Another problem I have addressed with them is that my account should be outfitted with SSL, as stated in the purchasing agreement, however the secure server has never pointed to the actual content on my website. I have contacted AccuBURST about this many times and have never recieved any response from them about this issue. Their HTTP, FTP, SMTP, MySQL and control panel servers are down or nonresponsive much of the time. The 99.9% uptime guarantee claims "We stand-by our guarantee of 99.9% uptime - and if we ever fall under this benchmark, we'll give you that month's hosting free of charge!". They have not stood by this claim in my situation. I believe this company to be a fraud, inept to provide the services they sell. After having read so many similar reviews of AccuBURST's dissatisfied customers I feel it is time to take action against this incompetent business. Leave a comment >> |
